Cortica Cary

Very disappointing service. Initially they have informed that there is no waitlist for service. Did the assessment ( online) and big bill sent to insurance and us. Now for last 6 months only response we get “ we will let you know once BCBA available” and no commitment on date. We Will suggest no to trust this cary center, if you really interested ask them to bill insurance once actual service is provided , not just to get easy assessment bill and runaway.

Cortical has a great staff and very professional. We recommend this for anyone

After hearing and reading great reviews about the place, we made an appointment. Our first intake appointment was quick but after this I am having tough time to actually speak to someone in order to make further appointments. All electronic appointments that are generated are not working out and it’s very frustrating to not be able to speak to a human despite leaving so many voice messages

My daughter is 9 and has autism, along with a range of other issues. The 'whole person' and coordinated approach that Cortica takes is what we've been looking for. We've been through A-LOT of doctors and therapists for my daughter, but none have approached her care like this, and I haven't seen the results we are seeing in her now. She feels comfortable enough to learn and grow. Shout out to Dr Hughes, Emma, and her ABA therapist Laura for being spectacular and really caring about my daughter's best interests. Shout out also to Diana for being so responsive and caring, in helping with the "underbelly" of scheduling, getting test results, etc. Truly an incredible team and incredible place. I couldn't recommend Cortica more.

Cortica is a wonderful group who knows their patients and takes the time to listen. We have had more success with them than any other medical team.

We’ve had an exceptional experience at Cortica of Cary, NC, where our 8-year-old son is currently receiving occupational therapy for Fine Motor Dysfunction. From the very first interaction at the front desk, to his evaluation with Dr. Rachel, and through his ongoing therapy sessions with Ms. Brady, every member of the team has shown a remarkable level of professionalism, compassion, and dedication. Every staff member we’ve encountered has gone above and beyond to make our son feel seen, supported, and celebrated. A special thanks goes to Ms. Brady, who has been a true gift to our son. She has built a wonderful rapport with him—he absolutely adores her and looks forward to their sessions every week. Her ability to connect with children and tailor her approach to each child’s needs is wonderful. We’re incredibly grateful for the entire team at Cortica. Their philosophy of whole-child, community-based care shines through in everything they do, and it has made a meaningful difference in our son’s progress and confidence. They have also played an invaluable role in helping us set up school accommodations, ensuring that the support my son receives extends beyond Cortica’s walls. We highly recommend Ms. Brady, Dr. Rachel, and the entire Cortica Cary team to any family seeking compassionate, individualized care for their child.

Cortica has been very helpful for my non verbal 5 year old daughter. Before she’s been quiet and rarely ever expressed herself and since coming here, she’s used full sentences and her motor skills improve daily. Her school life has also improved because of her sessions here. The therapists here are super friendly and understanding and my daughter bonded with them very fast. I’m so happy I found this place and I know she is too!

My 5 year old nephew has been with Cortica Cary since February 2025. The individualized ABA/OT/ST care he gets here is key, I think, to how much he has achieved in such a short time. There is not a big push for more ABA hours but rather for quality ABA hours. Making a schedule that allows him to grow and not feel like it’s a full time job. Our ability to communicate with each other has improved so much. I know it is in thanks to the crew at Cortica. Not only do they care for the whole child, they care for the whole family. His mom and I are included in every step of the plan of care. We have been very happy with the switch we made.
