Over two months since we started the onboarding journey for my kid and looks like we are still nowhere close to getting started. Again and again, we are being contacted to have the same assessment done as part of approval / onboarding process, without any regard or attention being paid to the history of the case (in other words, procedure / assessment already done is being asked to be done again as nobody took the time (ever!) to see that those assessments were already completed several weeks ago).

Amazing caring therapists and staff work at this place I’m glad our daughter is taking hers in here Update: This place is going downhill, from their in clinic location and some of their therapists lack of common sense to their in home sessions. They just decided it was a great idea in at home ABA sessions to change their schedules to rigid time blocks taking away from us amazing people to just send careless and heartless people like the last bcba having in mind only to find ways to mess with us and specially our daughter requirements. Thank you Cortica for nothing and been so ruthless specially with the kids that rely so much on these services

2025 Update: After being a Cortica family since 2022, we had to discharge our daughter this past weekend. Cortica has really gone downhill, slowly, but surely. Great place for kids ! They answer your Questions and concerns and help you to understand your situation better to get solutions and answers

We have been happy with the therapists and doctors we have seen in person, but honestly their communications via email make it very difficult for parents to keep up. Multiple appointments will be listed in the same email but completely out of order and the associated paperwork is also scattered through the emails. I have brought this to their attention as it has caused a delay in my daughter’s care and they really haven’t made any effort to improve. If we are handling 5 different things at the same care center, the least they could do is communicate in order and at a decent time for each appt. It’s frustrating to be on this end of their emails as a parent.its even more unacceptable when it’s causing delays in care but no improvements have been made.

My grandson goes to Cortica and we have seen so much improvement in his ability to advocate for himself. He has improved on keeping himself balanced out and in better control of his attitude. Wonderful to see. Thank you Cortica

Dr. Erwin is incredible. Probably one of the most evenly mannered people I’ve ever met. Great with kids and meeting them where they are at. So good at helping them feel comfortable in a situation that can feel stressful.

We were very pleased with the new Cortica facility in Plano. Dr. Mutzig was thorough, professional, and truly caring throughout our experience. The weekly occupational therapy sessions with Ana were incredibly beneficial, contributing significantly to the development and progress of our 7-year-old. The care and support our child received made a meaningful difference.
