Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
The front office staff are friendly and very helpful. Dr. Hasan is very professional and knowledgeable. He has many years experience managing patient medication.
My daughter is doing her Autism Diagnostic right now. So far, I feel very comfortable with Dr. Zoch. She is professional, and personable.
Terrible. Do not use this service. They discharged our child, claiming that he met all of his goals, even though he had not. This was after months of utter chaos, changing therapists every week and spending thousands of dollars. What a complete waste of money. **UPDATED after response to review There was no "transition". You paused his treatment because you needed a BCBA to evaluate, but didn't have one - in fact hadn't had one since last year. His ABA therapists changed weekly and he stopped progressing. Then, after you told us there would be a pause and we would resume in March, when he could be evaluated, you called and told us he had been formally discharged.
Really friendly, super informative, put us at ease and walked through the detail process.
Since this place as bought melmed center it has been awful. Not just the interruption of care provided to my son. Also, inconsistent billing. We had Dr.melmed he retired, as he should for his hard work and dedication. We were then transferred to Dr. Paluso without any notice he retired. Shortly after we were transferred to him. When I called I asked to speak to the manager. I had to leave a message for her. Which she never returned my call. A week later we received a letter in the mail, it was an invoice for an appointment I had already paid for. This is not the first time this has happened either. I would never recommend this place to anyone moving forward. How sad that they have destroyed Dr.Melmeds life long work in a years time.
The doctor listened very much and is understanding and came across very caring and wanting to help. I appreciate it.
We came to Cortica specifically requesting a comprehensive neurodevelopmental evaluation for our child. After a lengthy process that included completion of a full IEP and multidisciplinary school evaluations, our concerns were largely dismissed. When we reiterated that we, along with multiple professionals in our child’s life, suspected high-functioning autism, we had to advocate strongly just to obtain an ADOS, rather than having autism thoughtfully evaluated as part of a broader neurodevelopmental assessment. Ultimately, the only formal evaluation completed was the ADOS itself. There was no comprehensive integration of developmental history, parent interview, school documentation (IEP/MET), or real-world functional impairment. In fact, school-based documentation was explicitly excluded as “biased,” despite being standard collateral data for neurodevelopmental conditions. For a twice-exceptional, highly verbal, high-masking child, this approach felt insufficient and did not reflect how our child struggles in real environments with sensory load, transitions, and peer dynamics. While staff were polite, the process did not align with what was requested or expected when seeking a comprehensive neurodevelopmental evaluation. Families with complex or subtle presentations should be aware that significant self-advocacy may be required, and even then the scope of evaluation may be quite limited.
Dr. Masterson and staff are super helpful. The evaluation went really smooth, and my child felt very safe. Thank you cortica
