Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
We had the worst experience of our life's here, we have a child that we are looking for help with tantrums. After exploring tons of dead ends we where referred to p/t and didn't even know that this was supposed to be for children like our son. So we go in with extremely high hopes. And get rejected help do to him having a outburst in the intake meeting. We where devastated to say the least, all the people we talk to say this is the treatment he needs and all the therapist and phycologist , social workers we talk to say this is what they do and help treat. This place is just a money grab. Mental health is hard in this world don't wast your time with these people 💔
We provided significant background information on our child that was obtained through previous neuropsych testing, we went through and intake phone call and in-person appointment to relay all our concerns and hopes for OT treatment, and all seemed like it was off to a good start. Our first (and only) 30min OT session was a disaster. They didn't read any background or history on my child and decided to wing-it as if she was any other ADHD patient. The provider had no clue she is adopted, has FAS, ODD, RAD. It was all in the chart and notes and the provider chose to ignore all of it and attempt to learn on the fly. After all this, I'm expected to pay over $700 for a single 30min OT appointment. They are telling me it's my fault because we didn't "stick with it" so they could learn about my child over the course of multiple visits. Why would I have any confidence if you don't read your own notes? We contested the bill and nothing happens. They know they can force me to pay $700 for horrendous care because it's the medical system. If I don't pay, they don't care because they'll send it to collections and trash my credit score. Stay away.
We were very clear with how we wanted the OT to firmly redirect and not feed in to our adopted childs behaviors. Multiple great phone calls initially before scheduling therapy, and had a great intake interview in person. The random therapist we were assigned to must have read none of these notes, and didn't even know about the childs multiple other psch diagnosis - which we clearly brought up in the initial interview. Just zero experience with FAS kids and let the child be a complete terror, which anyone with an FAS kid knows you absolutely set clear, firm, and appropriate boundaries because they cannot understand exceptions. My husband repeatedly tried to explain this to therapist who did not have knowledge of FAS dx and she did not change her approach. Let the child run the show. Waste of time. Will be looking for a competent provider elsewhere. I'm sure we will still get a huge bill for the hour our child bounced off the walls and refused to comply with a wishy-washy noncommunicative therapist...
EviCore made me go, nothing they could really do for me. I needed fusions and disc removed. I normally saw Dawn, she had done traction for only 15 min low to see if it could help. 2 hours later my pain was excruciating. Dawn went on vacation, my next appointment I told the young man about the pain, he said Dawn doesn't know rhat she is doing?! So he increased tension for 45 min, 3 hours later I couldn't move! I called, took till the next day for him to return my call, basically he told me must be me, others don't have this issue? He also gave me a hernia, I then camcelled the rest of my appointments, his notes say I never showed back up and does not know why, so untrue.
Sure helping my grandson
When my son was 6mo he was referred to this place for physical therapy. He is now 3 and is going there for all 3 services, PT, OT, and SP. This place and the people are nothing short of amazing. Reception, to all the therapists, and volunteers. They always are happy and ready to take the time, work with my son patiently, and give my son what he needs to thrive as much as possible. My son walks in with a huge smile every time we enter!
