After a year of searching for an OT and sitting on waitlists, OT KellyB of Creative Beginnings magically appeared - and it's been just that, magic! Kelly has been transformational for our family. Her style of working with our son has been a great match - being outdoors and moving the body is crucial to our neurodivergent pre-teen. We as parents have gained so much knowledge from Kelly - from learning about an ADHD brain to discovering practical, easy to execute parenting methods - we are grateful for Kelly and highly recommend her.

Our child saw Kelly for OT when he was 4 years old at her outside OT space, at local playgrounds, and in our home. We loved that we were able to see his strengths and areas of growth in real spaces that he uses, and got suggestions for easy changes we could make and play based games we did together to help him grow in his awareness of his body.

Kelly is an exceptional occupational therapist and children's yoga teacher! I highly recommend her services for either.

We have known Kelly for over 5 years and both our kids had the pleasure of experiencing their preschool years with Kelly. Her knowledge and passion to truly help a child thrive and grow has been evident in our children. She was excellent at communicating our children’s wins while also sharing any concerns she had. She worked hard to go above and beyond continuously sharing methods and ideas to help our family. She continues to play a role in our kiddos growth with her awesome “how to” videos teaching our kids things such as tying their shoes, or yoga. 5 stars no question.

Our 6yo son has been doing OT with Kelly for the last few months. In that time we have seen his confidence increase at school and at home; transitions have become easier, and meltdowns fewer and farther between. Kelly is supportive, knowledgeable and proactive. In addition to the ways she has thoughtfully supported our son, my husband and I have appreciated her parenting tips and willingness to answer our questions. Her expertise on retained reflex integration seems to be the piece that we were missing in past OT experiences. The sensory experience of certain hygiene tasks has been very challenging for our son at times. At our last session my son said, "This OT has helped me because I didn't like the feeling of cutting my nails and now it doesn't bother me." For us, this seemingly small comment felt like a huge win. We cannot recommend her enough.

Our daughter has been working with Kelly for the past few months now. Kelly is very knowledgeable, patient, and understanding. My daughter struggles with emotional regulation and sensory meltdowns, so sessions could be very challenging with somebody who wasn't able to be as flexible and creative as Kelly is. OT is a lot of fun and we get a lot of practical homework and advice as well for bringing progress home.
