I have a family member that attends this facility, and I wouldn’t send them anywhere else. Thank you so much!!
As a 20+ years special needs teacher, AND parent of special needs kids, I confidently give this place and it's owners the highest of reviews. Their hard work changed my son's life and set him up for success. Highly recommend without reservation. The owners and staff clearly care deeply about their clients,.
Fantastic group of people. Always transparent and helpful. They have helped my child develop further than we had ever thought possible, always with kindness.
My daughter has been attending therapy at this clinic for a year and a half. She loves it there, and they love her. I left my career when she was one because I couldn’t find a trustworthy caregiver at the time. Two years and an autism diagnosis later, I was even more hesitant to leave her in anyone else’s care as a vulnerable, pre verbal child. Our initial phone call and meeting with Brit put us at ease. I have had the honor of watching my beautiful child grow in confidence, make friends, communicate with Proloquo2go while also becoming more verbal by the day. I am very involved in her therapy and in setting realistic goals that stay true to her AUTHENTIC self. The entire staff at CBS has been kind, helpful and supportive in helping us to find what works for our family. I have never seen a bruise I can’t explain, or had an incident that wasn’t communicated to me at an appropriate time. The only concern I raised about an RBT (which was just a mismatch in style) was handled promptly without any pushback. The staff at CBS respect my decisions as a parent, provide a safe and supportive environment for the kids and are always available when I need a sounding board.
My son has been going to CBS for almost a year, and they have made a world of difference. He is way more verbal, and his behavior has improved greatly. They were also instrumental in helping his potty training journey. The staff had always been extremely communicative, and I can see how much they truly care. I'm genuinely confused about how someone is posting that a therapist abused a child at either Largo or St. Pete locations. The therapists are in a big open room, and everyone would see if something happened. The therapist they have said has been with my son numerous times before, and he loves him. I also asked my son about the therapist today, and he said he's nice. I don't want to discount the feelings of a mother, but I definitely would need to see some evidence as a parent of someone who also sends their child to this clinic every day. I also don't see any arrests for him in Pinellas Who's in Jail. After working Crimes Against Children for so long, I know that if you have a room full of witnesses and/or video, an arrest happens immediately. I will wait to see what the actual findings are because I've seen way too many times before that people rush to judgement before they have any facts. I have seen nothing but caring, selfless staff working here, so I'll reserve judgement. Not to mention, we have very few great ABA clinics in this area, and to trash a business for something they handled is so bizarre to me. This is why we can't have nice places for our kids. Nobody wants the liability.
