Unfortunately I only was able to meet with DR. Ferguson once. The appointment was during school hours for therapy for my child and myself and my child could not handle the transition during school hours. The appoints had to be after school hours leaving no notification prior to appointment resulting in the appointment being missed an upon the second visit. The rescheduled 3rd visit was cancelled without notice. When I rescheduled the fourth time the appointment was again cancelled without notice. This is when I found out I was billed for the missed appointments and should not have been. The 5th and final time I tried to reschedule I was told the provider was choosing not to provide the service. There was no notice of this and resulted of much missed time of family therapy needed for my child and myself. A notice months ago that the service could not be provided would have been more professional. This doctor did not communicate efficiently regarding her intents and left us as her patients without the care we were seeking which is critical to my child’s development. Consider this when selecting a provider with life stance.
