DBT Center of Lawrence

My partner has gone to DBT since they opened, today she found out her therapist suddenly quit, she saw them last week, and not one person from the office contacted her. She found out when the new therapist (a literal stranger she has never met) called her and told her. Seems super unprofessional to me, and super dismissive of a persons mental health issues. This place strikes me as unprofessional and uncaring, don’t bother making an appointment as you will just be an insurance claim and not a person.

This practice is one of the only Certified DBT teams in the region. If you need DBT there isn’t a better place to go.

Empathetic and understanding staff willing to work with my schedule. I am able to speak with someone if something anxiety provoking pops up (as things in life do) who will help me navigate through. I found their DBT RO program very helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to start their own mental health journey.

I have tried to get an appointment for a month, and no one has returned my calls. BYRNNE Sent me an email.....saying she would get a hold of me in a few days.....but that never happened. And I contacted the main office again, nothing. Kind of scary action from a place that says they care about someones mental health. Shame on them. RESPONSE TO OWNER I have all the documentation proving that what you stated in not true. I called Bert Nash 8am Monday. Left a message. 20 minutes later, received a call back by 1:00. The SAME DAY I was in their office having my assessment completed. Incredibly nice, PROFESSIONAL, people there. I would highly recommend for anyone to call THEM first!!
