Dr. Christensen is clearly knowledgeable and experienced, and she draws from both professional training and her own parenting experience when offering guidance. While her feedback may be very helpful for some families, we found her approach to feel quite clinical and impersonal. As a parent, I did not feel that my concerns or questions were fully acknowledged, and there was little discussion of alternative options. She may be a strong fit for families who prefer a straightforward, clinical style; unfortunately, it did not feel like the right match for us.
Dr Christensen is absolutely amazing! She is incredible with my son, and always makes sure his needs are most important. We are truly blessed to have her as his doctor. ❤️

Dr. Christensen is the best psychiatrist. GPH is lucky to have her! She promotes mindfulness and healthy living to help with my daughter’s mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders in conjunction with medication and accountability. She has listened to my child and myself. 10/10 recommend.
Dr. Christensen is one of the best doctor's we've had. Our son, who was 9 years old at the time, was misdiagnosed by another provider. My husband and I were lost on what to do for him. We got a second opinion with Dr. Christensen and it ended up he has OCD, which can be commonly mistaken for other disorders. Her keen sense of understanding symptoms and behaviors we expressed led us to getting him the interventions needed to help him overcome his compulsions and anxiety. He now leads a fulfilled and happy existence in his social life, school, and sports & the arts. I know we would not be where we are today if not for her help as our doctor. She really cares about the families she serves! We continue to see her every three weeks as checkins and she's been able to see him grow and overcome struggles.
I would highly not recommend this provider. She seems great at first and then if you go against something she doesn’t like she definitely turns into a not so nice person. She also lied on the appointment notes which is unethical. She also misdiagnosed my child because she did not evaluate her correctly or at all. I would highly suggest no one goes to her!
