Great organization that goes to bat for people with disabilities. Denied housing illegally, or put on an indefinite "medical furlough" from your job by your boss? Disability Rights Vermont is in your court.
They told me to create a “prime directive” (just in case the issue happened again). Then the intake specialist told me to contact a newspaper and write a piece about my issue because I was so “well spoken”. They weren’t very helpful. Perhaps they are to others, but not for me. They complained about their funding. No actions were taken on my behalf even though my rights may have been violated under the ADA.
I personally had to work with Zachary Hozid in a matter, Mr. Hozid was very rude to me and was only concerned with his time. I bent over backwards to work with Mr. Hozid but on the date when the matter was closed Mr. Hozid did not have a care in the world for the damage to my property or for the antifreeze left my my dog to get into. Really sad that this person represents the state of VT.
