Dr. Hassan A. Jafary, MD

Dr Hassan A Jafary has been the best doctor I have ever had even though I've only seen him a handful of times he has never failed to accommodate my anxiety and mental illnesses with continued reassurance and in depth explanations on what he wants to do in my care plan and never fails to explain why. He is polite, respectful, attentive, understanding, and goes way above and beyond for his patients. Unlike other psychiatrists I've had, he has fought on my behalf to ensure I get the care I need where other doctors just threw a new prescription at me and told me to come back in 30 days. He won't let me give up, he genuinely cares for each and every one of his patients having different approaches for every person. Front desk receptions are efficient and have been willing to assist me with finding additional help and support systems. I couldn't dream of a better care team if I tried.

I have been withDr. Jafary for close to 20 yrs.He is an outstanding Dr..he talks to you, he helps you get the problem solved, if you need to see other specialist to in another area of the lines or situation, he sends you to the best . My mom also goes to him, she would not have it any other way!! He wants you to be healthy not full of pills, his way is so much easier, even when I don't listen all the time. His staff is of the chain: Ty, Tammy, Tully now that ought to tell you something, they are the Jafary 3!!and they serve with a smile. Give them a call!!!

Dr. Jafary and his staff have always been very kind and helpful! It’s obvious he cares about each patient. He takes time to listen, and there’s never been a time he wasn’t correct on his diagnosis. I have never met a kinder, more intelligent doctor that shows true concern for his patients! He has been our doctor for over 30 years or more! He definitely gets an A+ from our family!!

You hear good and bad things about every doctor, but for the most part I have heard more positive stories in regards to him and the way he treats his patients. I told my primary care physician that I was having trouble with my depression and my anxiety was becoming unbearable. She suggested counseling and a referral to a psychiatrist of my choice. A few weeks later my phone rings and I was treated like a southern regional inmate. Whoever I spoke with took it upon herself to speak for dr. Jeffrey and proceeds to tell me that he will not prescribe my medication the way that I have been getting it for nearly 20 years. I was informed that he would cut my medication back and most likely do this and do that??? I feel that it is his place to tell me my treatment plan or any concerns he may have with my medication or depression. I was offended and asked her if she was a physician. She replied with “I’m a medical assistant “. I told her if dr. Jeffrey is a M.D. and he cannot diagnose me over the phone, how can she? At that point she and I were both very insulted. Apparently his staff is allowed to assess patients over the phone. I called my primary care doctor and asked for another referral to anyone but his office. She informed me that his office contacted her directly and said that I was apparently the rudest and most difficult person to deal with for no other reason than to insult me and try and humiliate me I suppose? My primary dr. made me another referral that day and everything is fine now.. who knew that someone would actually want to talk to a doctor about their problems and medication and not a staff member? I’m going to be counting down the days to see how long it takes for my primary dr. to receive a call about what I just wrote and how rude I was again lol…

Just got hung up on. Not the 1st time. I was supposed to get a call back a couple weeks ago it never happened. I called back today and got hung up on. He was previously my whole families Dr. for years. Now I'm told that we can no longer see him. Because they had a problem with me seeing them b4. It has never been mentioned to me before today that there were any kind of issues. Stunned and confused.
