Very nice, needs help with customer service!

Clean place. A great place if you are hungry or just need a hand up. Really appreciate the volunteers who contribute their time helping others, May God bless you. The dining hall is clean and decorated with a loving touch. Most of the volunteers are kind and friendly. Did have an elderly lady volunteer swat at me at the pantry for almost touching a food item, if you are there out of the goodness of your heart to help those who are going through a tough time let that kindness be shown in your actions towards those people and show understanding when someone forgot the no touch rule or did not know(there isn't a visible sign at the front for new people to know about it).

The people that actually work at this place are nice and helpful. However they need to be careful who they let volunteer. Especially for security. Me and my little brother went to the thanksgiving meal they had and most of the experience was great! However when we finished eating our ride was running a little late so instead of waiting outside in the cold we went back inside and sat in a little corner out of everyones way waiting for our ride. There was a younger security guard not even 2 ft from us and he didnt care nor said a word while we sat for about 10 min. Then an older guy with an accent not sure what kind came up to us and said" you're not allowed to sit you have to stand up" I dont know what kind of power trip this guy was on but he was on one. I didnt realize this was nazi germany and not only that i thought this place held christian values. First thing that bothers me is why didnt the first security guard say anything? probably because that was a made up rule. Like we weren't bothering anyone we were even holding doors open for elderly and tryna be respectful and helpful. So what after you eat you just have to get out? Never felt so unwelcome in a place like this in my life. DO BETTER.. Also disappointed in all staff that was near the door that did nothing to try and deescalate. after deciding to just go back outside to wait in the cold winter weather than to deal with this obviously power tripping volunteer i got a patronizing "Happy Thankgiving!" From the lady at the door. Very disappointed. Ruined my thanksgiving in a matter of minutes. Also after reading other reviews it seems they have a history of problems with disrespectful and rude volunteers. Do you guys not interview or check the volunteers before allowing them to ruin your reputation?

Great place to go when times are tough and food is low most of the people are great except for the older man at the front of the food pantry line I encountered today (07/18/25) he was very rude and spoke to me very disrespectfully like I was a small child I’m not sure why he chooses to volunteer but treats the people in need like they’re not welcome there I was very disappointed by his behavior and demeanor.

The Dream Center is a life saver. I appreciate the food pantry and meals so much. I would have given it 5 stars but I agree with another review. There is a pantry volunteer that is very hostile. I witnessed her scold and swat at a women in a wheel chair. I understand no one need touch the foods just point but there is a better way to express that.

My experience here is awful, i feel they racial profile girls more than guys!!! They give u a tiny amount i mean a tiny tiny amount and Im like that is what u call a serving!!!! That is ridiculous!!!
