Well I have to say definitely hands down worst place in casa grande to get help with depression and anxiety, I had a therapist here for about 3 appts now ,but today was the worse she came all tired and yawning throughout the session and then took a five minute break for going to restroom, which she could have done before she got on appt thewith me ! Then came back and I thought she would make that time up for me but no ,instead she cut my appt off and I still had ten minutes left on my time with her ,I was in so much shock she had done that I didn't say anything to her then I got really mad that had happened I let my caseworker know ! I will be letting my pcp know I no longer want her to refer me to any mental health places here in town ,now I know why people don't get much help with mental health issues it's to do with how they are treated at these places and lack of support, I guess I bored my therapist cause she yawned so much ! And the nurse practitioner whi changed my depression meds last week ,is no longer with the company and the meds she gave me did not work and gave Me too many side effects I had to put myself back on my old ones I was taking ,totally useless and a waste of my time.people don't get help with mental health problems here they just let you fall through the cracks and don't care ! It's really sad .
I’ve been a client of every mental health organization in Pinal County since 2009. Before I found Blake Foundation, I had negative experiences with each organization with either inept prescribers, discrimination by counselors, a lack of dedicated counselors (most are hired by AHCCCS providers for initial experience upon receiving their master’s degrees, then after 6 months to two years, they leave, which is not good if you have cPTSD), and/or unethical case managers. I had given up by 2016, believing that there wasn’t any behavioral health agency in my area that meets my needs, so I stopped searching for a couple of years, which was when I found BF when I drove past their offices. And I’ve been very satisfied with the quality of my dedicated counselors since. Four things I like about BF are: 1) they prefer hiring counselors who intend on staying in the area and with BF long term; 2) They like to hire therapists who have specialized in understanding cPTSD; 3) Since they are a branch of Easter Seals, you can feel assured that they have much experience working with individuals from early childhood through adult, so they know their stuff when working with pervasive disorders, like those on the autism spectrum; and 4) they are CARF accredited, which means their agency has meet the professional requirements to be one of the top mental health agencies in the country. This allows them access to additional funding from other resources so to cover expenses for counseling, and other services, which some consumers may not otherwise by eligible for, even if they are made Medicaid (AHCCCS) eligible.
So weird that there's only three reviews and all are negative. We've never had a bad experience with ESBF.
Excellent service from their therapists
Have new therapist and she's awesome 👌
If I can give zero stars I would they do not care about the kids or the family's they called cps on my family and my brother had a meeting with a counselor that pervious day and she started crying and making a big deal over nothing the cops came to my that same night around 8pm saying he was here to make sure the kids are okay and they where and he even said that everything looks good then the day after cps went to my siblings school and they where having a party and they had to be pulled out in front of everyone and they took 30 to 40 minutes out of there party esterseals is not company you want to take your kids to they are unprofessional!!!!!
They seemed irritated that my children were there. Which is sad because the appointment was for them. It is an organization to help children. The man who did intake seemed very irritated. There were lots of toys and he didn’t seem too happy to offer any to keep them entertained. Sad it’s an organization for children but they seem not interested in helping. The lady at the front desk is not friendly and seemed out out by answering simple questions. Sad Yuma does not have very many organizations to choose from.
All I have to say is they are great. No other word could describe Easterseals Blake Foundation better. I am very thankful for my interaction with them.
