Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
We selected Eastside ABA with the understanding that they practiced child-led, ND-affirming services, but we felt the reality did not align with what we discussed before enrolling or our values. We were pressured several times to allow food as a reinforcer "to fit in with the group" and the staff regularly communicated to us and our child that they were frustrated with our child's behavior. We did not feel Eastside was a supportive environment and would not recommend.
Best place for my daughter! Thank so much April for all your support!
My experience with Eastside ABA has been fantastic. I have noticed significant improvements in both of my children's quality of life and behavioral/social interactions. I wish I would've started them sooner! Formative years are so important and this type of therapy helps! Btw, their practices fit the child, not a handbook on exposure therapy or demand/reward, which was really important for me.
Poor business practice. To request ABA services, you fill out a questionnaire that takes time and includes personal information and then a response saying your information will be reviewed.and you will be contacted should a match become available pops up. What does this mean? That I'll receive a call from you to discuss availability in the near future? That there are no matching time slots at this time? Is there a wait list? How long of a wait list are we looking at? Are my child's needs not best met by you? Should I look elsewhere? This approach leaves people hanging not knowing what to expect or what to do next. I filled in the questionnaire on January 8th and haven't heard back. I've dealt with many different types of therapy and this is the first time I've come across such an impersonal and dismissive process. Pictures attached.
Paul Johnson was instrumental in helping our child with autism and the other with ADHD I don’t think anyone could top him in his field. Our kids are mainstream and in a IB school and our child with autism we were told would never go to mainstream school... We are so grateful to him.
