I recently visited Essential Speech and ABA Therapy in Suwanee and was thoroughly impressed by their clinical approach and the overall facility. If you are looking for early intervention services in Suwanee, this center is a standout. It is clean, professional and welcoming. It offers a multi-disciplinary 'TEAM' approach that brings Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and ABA all under one roof. This center clearly prioritizes making therapy fun and functional. They specialize with kids 18 months to 7 years of age. Many parents fall into a 'denial mode' or a 'wait and see' approach. Delaying therapy can often hurt a child’s development more than it helps. Early intervention is the single most significant factor in a child’s long-term independence and this facility is the perfect place to start. A huge benefit for Georgia families is their expertise with the Katie Beckett Waiver. This allows children to qualify for Medicaid coverage based on their specific needs rather than the parents' income. In many cases, this makes this level of intensive, professional therapy more affordable than traditional daycare. The RBT's, BCBA, and therapy itself was a 10/10!! Michelle (BCBA) was fantastic and we appreciate everything she did for us! The RBT's were amazing as well. Our son grew so much in his time here and we are so so so grateful for them. They threw my son a graduation party when he graduated the services and they were just overall so sweet. Our son cried when he would leave because he enjoyed his time there so much, not realizing that he was learning all day. Our issues came with the previous office manager (not Maggie, Maggie is amazing!) and the owners when dealing with the financials. When we were receiving services here, they did not have or do billing statements. They also just seemed to be making everything up as they went (which is not what you want when dealing with money). They are a new small owned establishment, but you should not be figuring out insurance and financials on the fly. That needs to be established before you open your doors. We would be promised one thing, and have it in writing, only for us to later be told that was not accurate. There was a lot of misinformation given, and it was not rectified in the best way. We had a meeting with the owners and they called who I am assuming is an insurance consultant of theirs, not sure who she was, but she told them while we were sitting right there, to take as much money from the parents up front as possible. We were discussing payment plans and she said to not do payment plans, take as much money as you can, and if they (the owners) owed money back it would be minimal. We got screwed and they (the owners) tried to gaslight us saying that we should have gotten Katie Beckett to avoid all of these issues (Katie Beckett is not guaranteed to get approved when you apply). I truly hope they have resolved these issues by now, but if they haven't - I would ONLY recommend them to someone if you have Katie Beckett and you are 100% covered by your insurance. Call your insurance to verify too because we asked if we would have to pay when we signed up and they said no, we were covered, and that was not even close to being accurate. Dealing with finances with them was a NIGHTMARE.

ESA sets the bar high. I’ve had the privilege of being able to witness what amazing work the RBTs do with the kids there. They truly deliver an experience unlike anything I’ve seen in the ABA world and I’m truly grateful to have been a part of it. 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for quality care in Autism Services. Also, if you’re in need of an evaluation to obtain an Autism diagnosis for your child they can help with that too. It’s all in one holistic approach to ABA therapy founded on the premise of Assent based learning. Truly wonderful

I love this clinic! Everyone is very nice and professional. The clinic is clean and well maintained. There is even an outdoor area with swings and toys for the kids to play with and run around! The kids always seem so happy
