Expressions Pediatric Therapy

We were initially hopeful about our experience with Expressions Pediatric Therapy, but unfortunately, the scheduling and administrative handling of our case has been extremely disappointing. After starting feeding therapy and trying to build consistency for our child, we were informed that he would be transitioned to a different therapist. We were told this therapist had more experience, which we appreciated. However, the new appointment time offered (12:40 p.m.) conflicted directly with our child’s established nap schedule — something we had already communicated and that is critical for success in feeding therapy. When we requested a later time (1:30 or 2:00 p.m.), we were told the therapist’s caseload was completely full and that we would have to wait for an opening. This effectively halted our child’s therapy momentum. What was especially frustrating is that we later learned other families were given the option to choose whether or not they wanted to be rescheduled. We were never given that same courtesy or choice. Instead, we were reassigned and then left without a workable time. That lack of transparency and consistency feels unfair. We had already been driving 30–40 minutes each way to accommodate the original schedule, so to now face delays due to internal scheduling limitations is very discouraging. When families are working hard to help their child make progress, consistency matters. The therapists themselves appear kind and professional, but the scheduling coordination and communication need significant improvement. I would encourage families to clarify scheduling stability before committing.

I cannot begin to thank Alli and Abby on the hard work they have with my son! We are so very lucky to have Alli for speech therapy and Abby for Occupational Therapy. We are blown away by the progress we have seen in the year of speech and 3 months of OT.

I am writing an updated review as I am very disappointed and let down on my experience here … I don’t understand how a child with no verbal communication and a asd diagnosis would be denied an evaluation to receive a communication device that would significantly help the child … why would a parent be told in so many words that the child isn’t ready or capable of learning how to use one successfully when this resource doesn’t require any prerequisites . .. I had to sit back and watch my child be denied , or prolonged access to a resource that could potentially provide an easier way of life for her and provide her a voice . Why prolong this process for a family of a nonverbal child ? I can’t make sense of this . Of course a child will be dis regulated and upset if they have no way of communicating wants and needs and that is why I sought out help and in the end I left heartbroken and confused as to why my child wasn’t deserving of this . .

We love Expressions Pediatric Therapy. Our daughter has been improving since starting therapy here, and she asks to go all the time because she enjoys it so much. We have to remind her that she can only go when she has an appointment. She loves everyone there. Highly recommend.

Everyone here really cares and Carissa works wonderful with my little one!

This place is amazing and has been such a blessing to our family! Lauren was our therapist and is very knowledgeable, kind and patient. Our young daughter absolutely loves her and has responded so well to treatment! The staff is friendly and welcoming and the facility is clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this group and cannot say enough good things about them! Thank you all so much! You are truly a blessing!

Expressions is fantastic. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. My son loves his therapist and is always excited to go to therapy. He’s made so much progress and I appreciate the help they’ve given so much

My little grandson loves Ms Alexis. She is so very patient and sweet with him. She is also extraordinary at what she does, carving out a personalized treatment plan for the unique needs of each child. His speech has improved remarkably. I also appreciate the way she understands sometimes life happens, and things beyond our control sometimes come up; and she is flexible and willing to work with us in re-arranging/ rescheduling our session appointments, when necessary.
