Family Achievement Center

Billing was a mess and I spent more time sorting it out than my son did in PT. Staff were nice and friendly. Building was a bit worn out for the price.

My name is Fardosa Ibrahim and Family Achievement Center in Bloomington has truly helped change my son's life. When I first brought him there, he was not speaking, eating properly, or able to manage daily activities. He struggled with many behavioral challenges—running off, throwing things, jumping, and climbing. It was a very difficult time for our family. But thanks to the amazing team at Family Achievement Center, today my son is a completely different person. He can now communicate, stay calm, and take care of his daily needs. He no longer runs or jumps around uncontrollably—he's grown into a fine young man. I want to thank the entire team—speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy—for everything you've done for my son and for other children in your care. We truly cannot thank you enough.

Family Achievement Center has been a truly exceptional place for my son. The staff is consistently warm, positive, and deeply dedicated to the children they support. Their hard work and commitment have made a remarkable difference and I’m incredibly grateful to have found such a wonderful organization that empowers my son to thrive.

Family Achievement has been wonderful! 3 out of my 4 children receive services there. PT OT and speech… the therapists display their passion every visit. They are kind patient and knowledgeable. There are so many centers that I’m skeptical of.. for many reasons. I believe anyone who has given this place a single star must simply not know the process of therapy (ooop!) *shoulder shrugs* … I would recommend Family Achievement to anyone who needs it!

At 3 months, my twins were diagnosed with torticollis. Our pediatrician gave us a list of 3 clinics to choose from. I peeked at the sites of each and FAC was the only with photos of their providers; surely they’ll be the most personable. Man, what a good guess. Or maybe it’s not a guess at all, maybe that’s exactly what they want you to pick up — personable and family. We worked with Katy, the lead PT and Karynn. While we interacted with a few other PTs who were also great, these two were incredible. Caring, informative, fun, personable, knowledgeable … I could go on. For 6 months, we spent our Thursday mornings at FAC and it became the highlight of my week. Our boys progressed, checking off milestones with Katy and Karynn’s support. They helped us assess the need for helmets, helping coordinate evaluations at the PT clinic to save us a trip someplace else. And now, 6 months later our boys have strong rotation in their necks, round necks, and parents who couldn’t be more grateful for two angels who call themselves physical therapists. I couldn’t recommend FAC faster.

The Therapists who work here are truly remarkable humans. They meet each individual where they are in their stage of growth. They are patient, knowledgeable, flexible, kind, and the center is well organized. There are so many people coming and going at all times and each person has their therapists full attention when they are together. They have built such trust with our child. Her growth has been rewarding to see. She loves going to OT and PT (sometimes :-p).

Family Achievement Center is an amazing place- my daughter happily goes to therapy each week. Physical therapy is set up for fun! Thanks Katy for all your hard work!! We appreciate it. So many of my families go here!
