Cynthia in my opinion seems unprofessional and also appears to be bias… all I was trying to do was see in person how my child interacts at this company, & she gave me the run around. 1st she said it was fine if I stop by and a few days later she calls and cancels the appointment, and tells me I can only do a virtual session… she apparently is investing her self into personal matters of clients rather than just allowing a father to observe how his child is being handled… which is my only goal here… while I tried my best to explain my frustration she began LAUGHING at me… yet she claims “fathers should be involved”… I don’t recommend anyone send their child here…

My son has been at FamilyWise for almost 4 years (in August). From age 2 to now almost 6. Can I tell you what a life changing place this has been for not only my son but our family as a whole? My son had no communication/speech and would cry all day when he started. He has grown tremendously with the help of the staff at FamilyWise. He now can read, talk in 4-6 word sentences, make jokes, and write his name. The staff are a gift from above for my son and our family and all the current and future families.

FamilyWise has made such an amazing difference in the lives of my children. The staff is so caring, supportive, knowledgeable, and full of love. They have my absolute highest recommendation.

When you have a child with special needs, you become acutely aware that this world may not always be an easy or accepting place for them. So when you find people who do care for your child, who are safe people, you hold close to them! That is what you have at Familywise. They are a team of providers who will love your child like their own, help them to grow, and support you and your family. Our son blossomed during his time at Familywise, and I credit them with his ability to enter the school system this past year. Not only are they trained and committed professionals, they are wonderful and kind human beings who are doing this work with passion and genuine love for each child under their care. I can't recommend Familywise enough if your child is in need of ABA services. They are hands down the best in town.

My three-year-old autistic son attends their center in Mystic, and I have nothing but amazing things to say! Within two months his speech has increased exponentially, tantrums have lessened, and he’s learning a ton of skills that will help him transition to school later on. The staff is amazing!

I had heard rumors that Family wise didn’t support preteen boys, but when they agreed to do an FBA I thought I was wrong. Then it became “we don’t have anyone to support your son, but we’re looking.” Then it became “We’re still looking but maybe you should explore other agencies.” Finally it was unreturned calls until they admitted to my sons therapist they never intended to support in home therapy for us. And I still haven’t heard that directly from Cynthia or John.
