FDH Kids Speech & OT

The staff are very nice and friendly, always welcoming to everyone. I went there when I was younger because I had a speech impediment and I saw quick results. Highly recommend!

We took our son here for an OT evaluation with Kristen. The facility is fantastic from front desk to therapists. The office is organized and well run. It really felt like the staff took time to listen to parent concerns and explain what they were looking for and the why behind it. Kristen was reassuring and so incredibly kind.

We have been taking my son here for years to treat his childhood apraxia. He has made such improvements with their approach! We are very glad we found this clinic to treat his speech delay.

I made a post recently where I reviewed FDH as a 1 star for what I believed was a one-off experience. A couple weeks ago, my son his his screener and our experience was great. My questions and concerns were answered and data learned from the screener was shared with me. Today, my son had his first session and it was another great experience where I feel confident that his speech will be corrected quickly.

Kristin has been especially helpful and a great fit for our family and helping my son with dysgraphia. She’s been really flexible and able to create an awesome home plan for us. I’m really enjoying therapy there.

Foundations Developmental House completely changed my son’s/family’s lives. My children being autistic received Speech, OT, and feeding therapy and improved significantly in all areas. They went from pre-verbal to talking, overcame various sensory issues/fears, strengthened fine and gross motor skills, improved social skills in group settings (I.e available camps offered), helped my children reach various milestones, build their coping skills and improve their over all quality of life. FDH became our home base, our family. Their love, care, compassion, support, guidance and resources have surpassed any/all hopes. FDH will always be a crucial part of our treatment team, as they laid the foundation for my children to grow and thrive. We will forever be grateful to Foundations Developmental House and would refer any family on the Autism spectrum or those seeking out Speech, OT or feeding therapy for their children.

Both of my children have attended FDH for speech and occupational therapy services. My daughter greatly benefited from OT services after sadly having an illness that resulted in her losing some skills. With OT, she was able to regain her strength and skills, and refine others that were a little slower in development. My son attended FDH for speech services and the growth he made in the time he was there was tremendous. He went from having very few words to his verbal skills being age-appropriate and then some because of the therapy he received. Every therapist we worked with was incredibly knowledgeable. They were supportive and encouraging and helped my kids in so many ways!

Great place for speech therapy! Some of the best therapists in the area work at FDH, and the occupational therapy side is also strong. Thoughtful, kind, caring, and effective. I like they are a well-established clinic with many years of experience. Testing is also first rate.

We have been coming to foundations developmental house since October/November of 2023. So quite a bit of time. My son used to go to pediatric speech and language in Chandler which was a 10 Min walk from our house so def a huge drive difference. But the quality is night and day difference and my son has a regular two therapists he sees now twice a week. We love the fact that everyone is willing to work with our sons crazy agenda for the most part and aren’t forcing him to just sit for the the duration of his appointment. He’s made huge strides after coming here and so glad that we switched. Not only do they have speech but they offer so many other things for children that may have delays in anything. They also have summer programs for kids as well to help them in areas for school! Definitely a wonderful spot for your growing kids.
