The administration staff is very unprofessional. Treated myself and daughter so unkindly. When asking about plan of care I could not get direct answers. They are not responsive to questions and respond with snappy answers using an app. Do not recommend this place due to this. The actual PT care I received was phenomenal but the staff mainly Amanda Wadel had been a horrible experience.
Had a therapist lock a door while my child screamed, and wouldn't let him out. She was inside the room with him. She was trying to get him to use alternative route in the clinic, but the experience bothered me so much that I canceled services. She knew I was on the other side of the door so I don't want to imagine her practices when I am not close by.
I am not one to give negative reviews and generally keep that opinion to myself. However, I really feel like the community should be aware of how Feltz Therapy runs the practice and how it will impact you as a family already having difficulties. My child started with Feltz Therapy roughly December 2024. The therapist came to our pre school for therapy and we never found it beneficial. We never received feedback from the therapist about our child’s progress. I would contact her and ask for resources and be promised them, but never receive them. The pre school teacher said the therapist was more of a distraction for all kids in the class rather than a benefit to our child. The teacher said the therapist would sit off to the side and would redirect when behavior was inappropriate (things the teacher said she already does - minus the general classroom disruption of a visitor that all children wanted to interact with.) The therapist would message and say she would provide fidget toys that the teacher confirmed were not utilized after that message. We continued to proceed with therapy in hopes that with medication, things would improve despite the teacher expressing the lack of improvement or change when the therapist was around. In April of 2025, Feltz Therapy sent us a nearly $500 bill stating they switched platforms in December and had not billed us appropriately . I paid the bill and removed my child from services. I was frustrated with the therapist not communicating, not following up with promised resources and ultimately how the billing had been handled. In April of 2025, I paid the balance and found relief to no longer have interactions with Feltz Therapy. It is now October 2025 and I have received another bill from Feltz Therapy despite finishing services with them in April of 2025. I caution all caregivers looking to use Feltz Therapy. If you do not feel comfortable with your therapist, say something. Be prepared to receive large bills months later for billing that would have been easier managed if given in a timely manner following therapy services. Overall, I regret enrolling my child here. I spent a lot of money and my child did not benefit from therapy services.
I do not recommend Feltz for therapy services. Their scheduling department is rude and unprofessional. I have also received false information.
My children have been patients at feltz for over 3 years with no issues. Sadly, due to high turnover in the company, there are now people working with my children who do not know how to work with adults. Rachel and Kailea. OTs at Goodlettsville were so difficult to work with. They created unnecessarily barriers to access for my son. Katie Beckett grands money for special needs kids. They have gotten more stringent and require any provider to approve any purchases for the child. My son eloped and it was a traumatic experience as he was 3 when it happened. We wanted to use our funds for a fence and they refused to approve it, saying it wasn’t of medical necessity. Thankfully, his therapist at Vanderbilt was happy to make sure that he is safe while playing. It was in their scope. They just did not want to help. I sent many emails that got no response or very late responses after several follow ups via text. I was not greeted by Kailea on more than one occasion when I was in the office despite me greeting her. When they were being meticulous about what they would approve for Katie Beckett I realized I didn’t want the headache of working with such a difficult team for my son. I told her she was rude and unprofessional based on the objective experiences I had with her. Kailea responded that if we change our mind we’d be on the bottom of the wait list. A very unnecessary response when I clearly articulated that I did not want to work with her. She told her boss, Rachel, who emailed me discharging me from Feltz. I have a son who goes there who has a great therapist with no issue. Rachel did not call. Try to resolve anything at the lowest level. She kicked me out of her office because I told one OT that she was rude and unprofessional (because she was rude and unprofessional). This good ol girls club At Goodlettsville is running a once phenomenal company to the ground. STAY FAR AWAY
I have been taking my son here for over 2 years. My son has benefited so much from all the dedicated therapist working with him. From his PT' Katie, his OT' Ericka, and his two speech therapist Miriah and Landan. They are all 100% absolutely exceptional. They all truly care, provide thorough updates and always offer recommendations to continue my little guys process. I can't tell you enough how blessed I am to have these ladies as a full team for my son. All four therapist have hearts of gold and are fully committed to what they do. Thank you ladies and thank you Feltz!
My daughter has been at Feltz in Smyrna for a few years now for speech and occupational therapy. The progress we have seen is remarkable! Not only has she grown so much but she (and I) love her therapist! They spend time with us at every session, tell me what she did, how she did and take the time to field and questions I have. They have helped me with scheduling when necessary, been full of resources and most importantly make every therapy session fun for my little girl. We really love this place and were so grateful for the service they provide.
