If you are noticing some warning signs of speech/language delays, do not hesitate to bring your child to this clinic. We have been seeing Ms. Kelsey for about 4-5 months now and have seen a world of a difference in our son. She is knowledgeable in so many areas of child development and guides us through learning more about our son’s development. She is kind and even though he is shy usually, he has enjoyed and looked forward to going. The clinic is also a great place for us to wait with my other child and play so my son can receive his therapy.
I don’t have enough words to praise Kelsey! People are shocked at how my 3 year old went from barely speaking to now never stopping in such a short period of time. I was skeptical about therapy at first thinking my little one would eventually get there but now I wish I had come sooner. He wouldn’t be where he is without her. She is such a blessing! We HIGHLY recommend Kelsey! Not to mention all the staff who help with flexibility in appointments and handling insurance. If I could give more stars I would! Thanks for all that you guys do!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars. JoAnna is our favorite person outside of our family. She is the best! But honestly every single member of the staff has been nothing but amazing and friendly. I have waited a month before reviewing it. But we chose it because of the other reviews, so I'm not surprised. But I am very thankful that we are able to attend. My daughter goes for occupational therapy and hopefully speech therapy soon. She is speech delayed, but in the month she has been seeing JoAnna, her speech has significantly improved.
We absolutely love Foundations therapy! My son was nervous coming in, but the therapists did a fantastic job helping him adjust and he couldn't stop talking about how much fun he had. Amy and Bill were patient and kind. This place is wonderful and I highly recommend!
Mrs. Kaplan is one of the best in the field. Her people skills are amazing. The evaluation process is comfortable and pleasant. She provides useful insight into our sons’ behavior. Their therapist are amazing. My sons enjoys playing with them. From their point of view, they are a fun friend with lots of toys and his favorite games to play. Through active play, they have taught my sons useful skills. The parent training is probably the most important role that they play. They help us understand my sons. They provide parent training for the proper ways for us to handle behaviors, improve their abilities, and replace destructive behaviors with productive ones. We are a family with three autistic sons. Thank you for the help you provided our family : ).
The absolute worse. These people are money hungry jerks who couldn't care less about the children they treat. My daughter has been going here for a couple of years and putting in a lot of hours since my insurance covered 100%. Her progress has been minimal. They've had her counting to 10 for the last couple of years when in school she's learning addition and subtraction. They constantly lose therapists because they pay them peanuts, so there is a huge inconsistency as when she finally warmed up to a therapist then she was gone. But I tried to stick through it hoping to see improvements, until there was a problem with my insurance. Well, the very polite and smiling faces turned into horrible monsters. I got an invoice from them and ONE day later was getting threats that my daughter would be removed from the schedule unless I paid immediately. ONE day! And so they did. They hijacked her therapy even though I told them I would pay them that week. They are absolutely the worst place I have ever had to deal with in my life. I had been warned by others about this but I didn't listen and here I am. I regret choosing them.
No words can be thankful enough for Jake O'Neill. The work and effort he has put in to helping my son Jonah is insurmountable. As a father seeing Jake's work shine throughout my son I cannot be thankful enough. So blessed to have Jake come into our lives and we will never forget it! Thank you!!!
Our son is now 3 and is diagnosed with ASD. We were lucky enough to get Foundations Therapy for his ABA Therapy at home, and they are incredible!!! Below is a thank you letter I wrote to them. From one autism mom to another...use them! This is their passion! When we started ABA therapy with Wyatt, he was non verbal and screamed constantly. Within just a couple of weeks we could see huge changes in his behavior. Within a couple of months he had mastered the crucial signs to show us what he wanted or needed. Just shortly after that he was speaking. And not too long after that, he was speaking and understanding what he was saying. He is able to listen to commands, and follow through with them (even if doing so in protest 😊). He is repeating words and really trying to understand their meaning. The attention to detail your therapists showed with my son truly transformed how we live and communicate with him now. His teachers are so impressed that he already knows his letters! Lily has been the most amazing person to our family, and has encouraged us to learn along side Wyatt so we are able to implement his therapy 24/7. If we had questions she would help us out. If something we had been trying wasn't working, she would collaborate with other therapists to see if they had encountered it before and give us some ideas. She is the reason Wyatt is speaking and learning so fast. She has taught us how to calm him down fast, and shorten his tantrums. She has shown us how to better understand and communicate with our son, and we could not be more grateful. She has given us a life we did not think was going to be possible with our son at this time, and has given us a new hope in his future. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you have done for our son and our family. You can tell this is not just a job to any of you, it is your passion; and as an autism mom, I am forever grateful to all of you for that!
My daughter went to Foundations for ABA therapy for 1 full year, for approximately 20 hours a week. All of our hours were in the office, and I observed every session. Each of our therapists were amazing, dedicated, caring, knowledgeable individuals who truly made a positive difference in my daughter's development. Ivy and Laura, the owners, also took a personal interest in my daughter and her progress. I can say with absolute certainty that the staff at Foundations is responsible for helping my daughter acquire important skills and assisting her with becoming much more independent. I am also thankful for all of the feedback, input, and encouragement the staff gave to me, as a parent. The therapists and owners were, and continue to be, wonderful resources.
We was referred to a physical therapist by my daughter's pediatrician. Jodi was fabulous and worked with my daughter to get her up to speed in her physical development. Jodi was excellent with my daughter and very caring. The whole team was a pleasure to work with and helped my daughter with her physical development. They genuinely enjoy working with children and it shows in the everything that they do. A very caring place to bring your child. Highly recommend!!
