The woman who handled the intake was very helpful, and a joy to work with. We scheduled an evaluation and planned the two hour drive, only for my wife to be greeted by a doctor on a video call at the office. The video call lasted a total of about 10 minutes. It was pretty aggravating to learn that a video call that could have been handled from home resulted in a four hour round trip. That was a clear lack of respect for parents working hard to find solutions for their gifted child. The autism spectrum evaluation I take with a grain of salt from someone who spent no real in person time with our child, no matter how in depth the intake paperwork was or how closely medical records were examined. I am on the fence about continuing to work with these people. It should have never been suggested to come down to the office for a simple video call.
