Awful place they don’t care about the patients at all. The Indian Dr was the only one who seemed to give a shit and I only got to see him very briefly. I had an order to use a pregnancy pillow while there and they refused to let me have it. I now have severe back pain that I can’t seem to manage. I left without any care or treatment because they refused to let me use the back pillow. Now I’m about to go back to the ER for the severe back problems I now have from staying there for only 24 hours. They told me since I left early insurance wouldn’t cover my bills there. I came there for help and I ended up with way more problems than I came with. The place is a joke! Don’t waste your time!!!

We had our daughter here to get a mental evaluation due to her years of court & counselor documented sociopathic & psychotic tendencies involving violent attacks against her mother & suicidal threats and schizophrenic behavior.. the staff & psychiatrists disregarded all of the reports as well as our concerns & attempted to send her back home before the court hearing & failed to build a treatment plan. They purposely disregarded her issues and Tried to discharge her with the excuse that they are a short term facility.. we called them and they still hadn't had anyone talk to her. They also don't strongly monitor the patients outgoing calls. Our daughter was allowed to contact the individuals that had been grooming & coaching her to run away & kidnapp her younger sister, so these individuals could move away out of town with them..

there was a few mean nurses, but some of them really helped me. 2.5 overall tbh. food wasn’t bad

The care is adequate but the system for visiting hours is counterproductive. Visitors can spend most of their time just getting someone to answer the phone!

I went to genesis a couple days before my 16th birthday. We ate the same meals 3 times a day everyday of the stay. The blankets were so thin and the mattresses were even worse. There’s crazy drawings all over the dressers that they made no attempt to even cover like they what you to read it and go crazy. My lips were so chapped and I bawled every night I was there. Do not recommend sending your child here! As an adult now.

I stayed there a couple weeks ago. I overdosed and an ambulance got me from my house and I stayed at the ER for about 3 days waiting for a bed to be available at this place. Some nurses were nice, others were completely awful . The doctors did mot help my issues I had told them about my issues at home and they did nothing to help. On the website it claims that children will be allowed outside, but this is just not true. Me and the other kids spent about a week without going outside. Completly cut off from everyone except for mother and father, who are the root of my issues.
