Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
My son was two years old when he was diagnosed with Level 2 autism. The Autism doctor recommended he have ABA therapy even over school and even speech therapy. Our son also had an early intervention program run by the state ends at 3 years old. He had a lack of eye contact, didn't respond to his name, didn't give you items like a cup, couldn't stack items, and couldn't use a spoon. He needed a lot of help. So, my wife and I emailed probably every ABA therapy in Las Vegas. Some were responding right away, and some few days, some still email me today. We went to visit a few places. Gingerly was the first on the list because they were the closest. It's the only place that looks like a day care. Very kid friendly, and my son walked around, lay on the carpet. He was interacting with the therapists there. He felt so at home, which was a shock to me and my wife. We had a great visit and went to other places. One looked like a Catholic school. They had a play room that was dark and called it the fun room, lol. So it took like 6 months to get the evaluation for Gingerly. So when we came for the evaluation, my son felt very comfortable even the second time. Our son went to school for Oct to Dec 2024. His evaluation at the school was the first time he threw a crazy tantrum we had never seen. So he was very comfortable with Gingerly, which kinda said a lot to us. Our son is nonverbal, but we believe he can speak because we have heard words before. Our son goes 4 days at the center and 1 day at home. I'm not going to lie. We were not all that comfortable at home visit. But we said if it can help sure, and there are usually two people. The supervisor and the therapist. So, my son has two therapists at the office who work with him during the week. One of those therapists does the home visits. I'm going to mention a few people. First, Aidi ( maybe I spelled it wrong) is great. From updates, changing schedules, very professional and kind. Pretty much captain of the ship. Then, I have a newer therapist named Tracy. She is very professional and very nice. While I dont know her in detailed, but my son takes a liking to her. My evaluation of her is also through the lens that my son has improved a lot. Since she is a part of his team, our son's success is also hers. There is also Taryn. She is the supervisor of the two therapists my son has. She is nice, super informative, and always willing to answer questions, and she is the one in charge of building our son's program. She is great. Then, of course, there is Tarah. Tarah is the other therapist. She has been with my son since he started, and she does the home visits. It may seem a little unfair, but since we have known her longer, it will make sense that her review would be longer and more in-depth. I could speak of Tarah knowledge of the field, and I could say she things about her background, but I think everyone expects that from a therapist. So I have been in management for over a decade, hired people, fired people, trained people. You can train people to learn new skills, new abilities, etc. You can't teach anyone passion. Tarah is here to help because she loves this field. She loves helping children. When people have a desire, a passion for something, it's always a sight to see. We are very lucky and blessed to have her as one of my son's therapists. You can't put a price on someone like that. Someone who wants to be here to help to the best of their abilities. My son has better eye contact, can stack blocks,do puzzles, use a spoon, and give you his items when done like a cup. His progress is pretty amazing to my wife and I, and it's only been three months. While we know that it takes a team. We are lucky that we have this team. I would highly recommend Gingerly to families who are looking. Not all heros wear capes.
Malia Neri, who is a BCBA at Gingerly, is the best there is!! I admire her devotion, passion, and overall approach to meeting the needs of the children we serve in the field of ABA. Malyna is extremely qualified in building and developing treatment plans, providing supervision to future BCBA's, as well as treating her staff and clients with the utmost professionalism at all times. Gingerly is blessed to have such a devoted and compassionate BCBA like Malyna!!!
One of the Behavior Analyst, Malyna is an amazing BCBA. She sincerely cares for individuals on the spectrum and does such a wonderful job explaining the care being provided to parents and RBTs involved in each case. I have learned so much from her as she is amazing in teaching others about ABA and fully demonstrating those skills to the point of comprehension. She is an awesome asset to the gingerly therapy team!
Our experience with Gingerly was not good one. I would keep looking until you find a better established company to work with.
This business is new but the ladies that started it have been with my son for 5 years (some when they were with a different company) and they are AMAZING!!! This is ABA done right; play-based, kind and caring, individualized for your child's specific needs. Brooke and Lindsey are the Gold Standard and they aren't settling for "warm bodies" to hire new RBT's and BCBA's. They hire the best and they continue to train new employees to bring them up to their standards. You won't find better ABA services than Gingerly Therapy.
