I was in 2nd grade when I first went here and stopped 2 years later, I went here for anxiety mainly and Dr.B determined that he had to cure my autism to get rid of the anxiety if that makes any sense, he put me on this oxycarbazipine (if that is how you spell it) that got to the point of making me sick and the only solution was more medication for any issues I had. Short version I came here with anxiety but left with a fear of medication, depression, suicidal thoughts, and still anxiety. If you want help don’t go here.

Ive been coming here a little over a year now. I love it here! My experience with the psychiatrist was short lived due to his passing. I felt herd and he tested me on things my normal doctor didn't even bother to do nor listen. Got me on better medications. Every since his passing, I can not find any psychiatrist to accept me due to bpd and pstd. So I will deeply miss him. My therapist Ben is amazing. He's very understanding and calm. He's not afraid to point things out. He will give you feed back as your talking with him. He can be straight forward. Greate sense of humor. As someone who suffers from BPD ( Borderline Personality Disorder) and ptsd, it is nice to talk to someone who is willing learn and listen. I don't feel like im being stereotyped from having bpd. It's just a nice change of pace and peace of mind.

They can't even communicate with their own employees or return calls when they say they will. Don't waste your time. Probably got certified online. Awful service. Just awful.

i got up and walked out of my appointment with gerald bannash because he would not listen to me and then he became aggressive when i tried to explain why i was seeking help. as revenge he called my primary care doctor and told them i was seeking controlled drugs from his office. really bannash!?? i never once asked you for anything and I actually told this man i was seeking a therapy that did NOT include medications because i was tired of my current psychiatrist who was a over prescriber type. how could i ask for medications when we never even got past your hyper aggression towards me? i also was hassled and treated poorly by his staff prior to the visit over the phone and emails and i should have connected how miserably they behaved when interacting with me as a sign that this office is total dumpster fire. unbelievable.

I would categorize Bannasch as a fraud, not a Dr. PLEASE do not see this person if you value your mental health! I have struggled with anxiety and a severe phobia since I was a teenager and have been to many mental health providers over the years. This man was by far the worst! When I finally was escorted into his office, he just sat and stared at me - said nothing. I had to start the session. The only time he showed interest was when he was talking about himself. I should have left midway through the "session", but unfortunately, I didn't. Ultimately, he put me on a cardiac diet - for anxiety. Obviously, I never returned. Life is hard enough when you're having mental health issues. Seeing this man will only make it worse.

"dr" Gerald Bannash told me on my first (and only) appointment (about 10 total minutes) what all of my problems were in life without doing ANY patient intake or health questions. he was rude, dismissive, would not listen to me, put words in my mouth, called me a liar, he DID NOT review my medical history which i brought and when i tried to explain symptoms and experiences with past medication therapies he would not listen and became hostile. he was arrogant and hostile with me for simply trying to explain my medical issues. RUN AWAY- DO NOT WALK AWAY.
