I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with the Global Autism Project. From the moment I joined their team, I have been consistently impressed with their dedication to making a difference in the lives of individuals with autism and their families. One of the most remarkable aspects of my time with the Global Autism Project has been the incredible travel opportunities it has offered me. Not only have I had the privilege of contributing to their mission, but I have also had the chance to explore different parts of the world. It's been an enriching and eye-opening experience that I will forever cherish. Their commitment to educating and caring for the autism community is truly outstanding. The team's expertise and knowledge in the field are exceptional, and it's evident that they are genuinely passionate about what they do. They are always willing to go the extra mile to provide support and resources, making a significant impact on the lives of those affected by autism. Working with the Global Autism Project has not only been fulfilling but also personally rewarding. I started following the Global Autism Project years ago, and when I started listening to their Podcast, I started to become more intrigued, invested and moved by their mission. Since then, I have I have traveled on a Skill Corps trip that transformed my life!

I volunteered with SkillCorps in 2017 and had a wonderful experience! Since then I have traveled to 3 more countries with Global Autism Project, and been an active fundraiser.

I have an employee of my company, Acuity Behavior Solutions ABA, who we sponsored via donation to attend a trip. She said it was a wonderful experience and she felt like she really truly helped others in the process.

I would caution anyone thinking of traveling with this organization. They have safeguards in place to protect their interests as you are required to sign an agreement that if you do not fundraise the required funds your credit card will be charged. However, there are limited protections for the volunteer. The Global Autism Project can change the required fundraising amount at any time and trips are not guaranteed. Speaking from my experience, my trip was canceled 3 weeks before the trip due to “flight uncertainty” and I eagerly waited another entire year to travel. I was assured during that time all was okay and I would get to travel. Then the Global Autism Project raised the fundraising amount and told me I was not able to travel unless I produced thousands of dollars more in funds. I would recommend doing your research before moving forward with this organization.
