I had high expectations for Golden Care when we decided to enroll my autistic son in their ABA therapy program. Unfortunately, from the very beginning, our experience was less than satisfactory. Firstly, we were never informed about the start date of the services. One day, we unexpectedly found the therapist at our doorstep, ready to begin the sessions without any prior notice. This lack of communication was unsettling for our family. Moreover, we soon discovered that the services we had requested were not entirely home-based. The BCBA conducted sessions virtually via camera, which was contrary to our expectations of in-person support. Adding to our frustration, we faced significant difficulties in getting direct information from the office. Despite reaching out multiple times, I never received a response. The only people who listened to us were the therapists, but they were only there for the therapy sessions and had no access to the administrative system. We ended the services by requesting help to properly terminate the therapies without violating any contract regulations. Out of the three emails I sent asking for assistance, I never received a response. After just three months, we decided to discontinue the services due to the company's inadequate training and support. Golden Care did not meet our expectations for reliable, consistent, and well-communicated therapy services. This review aims to assist other families in making more informed decisions. We expected more from a company that claims to specialize in care for individuals with autism.

I gave two stars only because the therapist Ms Melissa was amazing but the company was a nightmare. They never sent bills timely. I fought with Greg from billing for two years. He never updated my payments and continued to send me insane bills. I gave him copies of checks and had to keep a binder just to do his job. None of the company staff would help with this. We went through 4 therapist supervisors because no would stay with the company. Broke our hearts to lose Ms Melissa but after two years of the stress of fighting with them we couldn’t do it anymore.

This company is a nightmare. They lie about cases, mislead staff about hours, never answer the phone, and can’t even manage or proofread their schedules. Cases are gone before you hear about them, and management—Kamali Rojas, Delsin Ferreras, and Monica—is completely incompetent. The only good part is the families. Parents, do not bring your kids here. Staff, do not waste your time—there are far better, professional companies out there.

I have been using this ABA therapy agency for my child for several years, and I am extremely disappointed with their dishonest and unprofessional billing practices. Despite my insurance covering 100% of the therapy costs since 2022, the agency continued to charge me copays for nearly three years without any valid reason. When I confronted them with proof of these wrongful charges on my credit cards, they initially tried to deny responsibility by absurdly suggesting that I had been scammed by someone else. When that excuse fell apart (because I had their own invoices and statements), they changed their story and falsely claimed that I actually owed them money. Even after I provided clear evidence from both my insurance company and their own billing records, they refused to acknowledge their mistake. Instead, they keep sending back-and-forth emails, avoiding accountability while continuing to confirm my correct insurance coverage — yet never addressing or resolving the overcharges they made for years. To make matters worse, they also submitted claims to my insurance for additional therapy hours that were never provided — which raises serious ethical and legal concerns. I would strongly caution any parent considering this agency. Be vigilant about your statements and insurance claims if you decide to work with them. I am deeply frustrated and will be reporting these practices to the proper authorities and my insurance company.

This company does not seem legit. They asked for insurance and private medical and personal information on my son right from the beginning and then never followed up. I had to reach out numerous times and then when I finally got to talk to someone they made up a story about how they couldn't work with our family based on an evaluator in my son's medical evaluation not in-network with our health insurance. This is not true. The medical doctor/evaluator and her whole facility are in-network with the insurance. When I explained this they hung up on me. My son's doctor's office had also called to verify this with them and no one responded to them. They are extremely unprofessional and questionable in authencity. I regret sending them private personal and insurance information on my son and have alerted my insurance companies about potential fraud within their company. I would not recommend this company.
