I reached out to Golden Steps in Feb 2025, the lady I originally spoke with told me the waitlist wasn’t too long and my son would be in within a couple months. We had an assessment for my son where I was told he could do in home or turnstone. I chose turnstone since I work 3rd and have other kids that need to be picked up and dropped off throughout the day. I was then informed I could not do turnstone but could still do in home or wait on the Parnell location to open. I chose to wait on the Parnell location since my son does receive OT & ST already. I received a call mid July stating my stating my son’s start date would be August 11. So on August 11 I called realizing I didn’t have the address with my son already loaded into the car. The lady told me he wouldn’t be starting that day because they needed authorization from insurance. She stated the worker that handles that would be in at 9am and she would talk with her and get back with me. It is now almost October and I have not heard anything and I have reached out via email and calls. I have moved on to another company but feel this is something that should be addressed as I was told it would only be a couple months to being prolonged 7 months to absolutely no contact.
