This company was our first experience with ABA, and unfortunately it was an extremely negative one. The intake process initially seemed fine, but once services were supposed to begin, everything deteriorated quickly. Appointments were scheduled and we met with an RBT who appeared to be expecting support from a BCBA that was not available. The session consisted almost entirely of the RBT attempting to contact the BCBA, who ultimately stated they were unavailable. There was no clear plan, no guidance, and very poor communication overall. The RBT had no familiarity with my child and did not attempt to gather information or build rapport. We were told that nothing could be done without BCBA direction, and the session ended early. The following visit was even more concerning. Once again, there was no BCBA involvement, no treatment plan communicated, and no direction provided. The RBT openly stated they had little to no guidance and did not know what they were doing. This lack of training and supervision was evident throughout the session. Some of the approaches used were completely inappropriate and caused severe distress. As a result, my child experienced intense meltdowns that we had never seen before, despite extensive experience with other types of therapists outside of ABA. The impact did not end with the sessions — there were noticeable behavioral changes that persisted long afterward. What occurred during those visits was not therapeutic and caused harm. To make matters worse, insurance was billed at an extremely high hourly rate for services that were unstructured, unsupervised, and ineffective. Given the lack of experience, oversight, and planning, the cost billed was deeply concerning. Overall, this experience reflected serious issues with communication, supervision, training, and ethical delivery of care. I would strongly caution families to thoroughly research and ask detailed questions before beginning services with this provider.

I had been looking for ABA services for my daughter and I thought I had found the right fit with this company only to be dissatisfied. Her services started out great but with time it went south. She started late July by September 4 they had suspended her services due to no fault of my daughter but for reasons such as me not signing an ROI for the TBI on a case that was already closed and me being in direct contact with them so there was no reason for them to contact them. Another reason was because of a moldy wall but only a little water damage above my back door. Another issue was a "safety concern" was because there was an issue to where my husband had been yelling at my other daughter in which to the RBT called the BCBA and made it out worse than what it was. Another issue was the RBT apparently smelled a "strong urine" smell coming from my daughters room (but when you keep a dog crated for 6.5 hours it will pee). So I had a family training with the BCBA and once it ended I received an email with all the contingencies that we had to follow in order for services to continue. The things we had to do for her to continue was not anything that would have directly impacted my daughters services. But ok I am willing to comply. That following Tuesday (Sept 9) DCS was knocking on my door because they received a referral for Child Abuse/Neglect. Have I followed the contingencies for services to be followed up on absolutely not because it doesn't reflect the need for her services. DCS investigated and thankfully they knew that there were no immediate or imminent threats to my child and to have them tell DCS that my husband was abusive was definitely not true. We asked for services to help my daughter but this situation has only made my daughter not trust anyone. Amy (RBT) and Emily (BCBA) did not effectively help when it was needed nor did they handle this situation to the best as I do know Tennessee is a Mandatory reporting state as I am a Mandated Reporter. I felt that Amy S. was very oblivious as to what her job was and what it entailed as she feared doing her job. She also crossed the ethical lines by giving us a halogen lamp and giving me clothes (not needed) and she would engage in conversations that I didn't need to know about regarding her family or the company she worked for. I would highly NOT recommend this company. The best therapy is what I can offer my child rather than those who only sees this as a paycheck and my child as a number. Sidenote: the reason for the TBI is because a year ago I called because my daughter had been exploited case was closed at the beginning of this year. I am a very involved parent and I monitor all activity that goes on with my daughter and I stay in contact with the TBI if I have questions/concerns. An incident occurred and I notified them and there were no concerns so that is why i didn't want to sign an ROI for this company as I spoke to the agent in charge of our case. She instructed me as to what I needed to do and it wasn't good enough for our BCBA Emily. Also the BCBA wanted me to get someone in professionally to remove the carpet from my daughters room because of the "strong" urine smell which in fact didn't come from my daughter. The smell was from my pup who had to be crated for 6 hours while Amy was here and every time the RBT would go to the bathroom my pup got excited and tinkled in her crate. If anyone decides to go with this company make sure to have cameras in your house with sound and make sure your house is immaculate. Don't get your hopes up too high.

The website was beautiful to my ears and so were the reviews. I made clear the pace we wanted to go from the beginning and my concerns were met kindly. I inquired about the variety of ABA approaches and if they were able to offer more than cookie cutter treatment, it was reinforced that individual treatment plans and parent input was highly valued and implemented. I was told transparency and communication would be top tier. I can confidently say the company and or BCBA we worked with did not fully represent those expectations and in a month and a half we are moving on.

I do not recommend.

Had me provide detailed information and obtain physician referral. After a week or more, told me they didn't take my child's insurance. I consider this very unprofessional and inconsiderate.

We love Shelby and Angie our RBTs! We also love our BCBA Emily! They have done great things for my child. She has grown so much by having them with aba.

Since starting aba in April 2024 our son has absolutely flourished we cannot thank Rhonda and Jeanie enough for their hard work both Rhonda Bcba and Jeanie Rbt have went above and beyond and the progress is unbelievable we wouldn’t be where we are today without them the two make an incredible team and I simply cannot thank them enough for changing our lives the way they have

Krista Creasy does an amazing job caring for the client she shares with me. She is consistent (which is key) caring and great at implementing the behavior plan put in place by her bcba. This company does an amazing job finding rbt's and bcba's to fit the needs and personalities of their clients. We are grateful for your help and the amazing progress we have seen since you began with your client, Ms. Kris!
