A++++ THERAPY CENTER!!!! Melanie and her entire team are exceptional therapists and even greater human beings! Our daughter started here at 18 months (now ~ 5 y/o) and her speech and occupational needs have more than been met! She has grown from babbling at 18 months to now using full sentences and pronouncing words clearly at an alarming rate! Her sensory delays & needs and ability to focus were also addressed so well that she no longer needs these services! My wife and I cannot thank Great Start enough for the remarkable care they have provided for our family! The entire staff is courteous, professional, clear, and understanding in addressing any needs and/or concerns. Their methods works wonders and are fun for the students, as my daughter consistently looks forward to play time with her therapists. This place is a God send! Don’t go anywhere else until you have contacted Great Start Therapy first to help with your needs!
I knew nothing about speech therapy until my son’s school said he needed it. And also because he doesn’t pronounce words correctly and pronouns are inaccurate. He is 4. I’ve known Melanie for a long time now and she said “come on over, we will fix him right up”. And surely they are!! My son loves it here and can’t wait to come back each week!! He is improving each week! Everyone is so friendly and is so inviting. Great therapists and a wonderful owner as well (Melanie)! Look no where else!!
I can't say enough about Miss Mel and her whole team! We have been coming to Great Start for 8 years and they feel like part of the family. Children and their needs are always the #1 priority here. Everyone we have met truly loves the kiddos and will go to any ends to help them to grow and be successful. My son's life is truly better for being part of the Great Start family.

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE GREAT START! Where to begin!? After graduating from our first speech program, we did not find our needs being met in the group we had graduated to. Thus, we did our research and reached out to Great Start for an evaluation. We found that Great Start genuinely listened to our needs and allowed us to modify our plan in a way that worked for us. We have found the providers and staff to be very knowledgeable, kind, and terrific with children. We are making great strides and fantastic progress in a manner that is not only effective but fun. We look forward to our session each week. They treat you like a member of their own family. The office is small and constantly growing without compromising quality. It is well run and efficient. I am so glad we reached out to Great Start!
