Case management has been great to me however the building staff are extremely rude and disrespectful. Everything from threatening to cussing at people all because they walked to the window *like their supposed to* they do nothing but sit on their phone and when they have to do their job they're disrespectful. Mind you this is supposed to be a place that helps with mental health so theyr should be smiling and setting the tone. They people at the front door are ALWAYS rude and NEVER sign you in then they blame it on case management. The turn over rate is high so you will switch case managers periodically which is normal and NOT their fault. The office staff however need a MAJOR attitude adjustment.

How long does it take for the assessment

NOTE TO ANYONE THINKING ABOUT CALLING THEM……. DONT!!!!!! I don’t even know where to start with this organization. This is the worst organization from top to bottom. They are horrible with communication. They do not inform you about any changes within the organization, such as switching caseworkers. For example, you might have one caseworker helping you with some things, and then the next day, a new caseworker is assigned to you without any explanation. So now you have to play catch-up with the new caseworker, and by the time you get the new caseworker caught up with everything that’s going on, they will switch your caseworker again, and it just happens over and over. Nothing gets done or settled, so what could have taken two weeks ends up taking five months. Another example is when a caseworker took over my case from someone else, and I was never told. I had to call the previous caseworker to find out what was going on, and she never responded. I had to call dozens of people at the organization to find someone who could explain what was happening. That took three months, then they assigned me another caseworker just to start over again for the fourth time. This organization doesn’t really help; it just seems like a money grab. I feel like they just try to keep you in rotation to get paid off you and fake help with real-life issues, which is so wrong. Please consider seeking help elsewhere, like Talbert House, maybe.

They also talk trash about their clients amongst each other. They document false reports and listen to just anyone going against their clients. They are very argumentative and aggressive people. 10 years down the drain with no help from them at all. They lie, will stalk you and get you kicked out of your living environment. These people are not who they say they are.. please be careful who you confide in. This is not a good care management team. They DONT CARE AT ALL. Do not waste your time

What can I say from top to bottom this place is ran unorganized I mean if you are patient and weave through the bullshit you will get what you want top to bottom. But I'm thinking about pulling my mother out of this organization

Gcb used to be a great place for a pcp, a case manager, therapy and the pharmacy. Now it is awful. My pcp just up and left without letting me know, my case manager is a nice lady, but she is an idiot. It took her months to get me set up with a new therapist, but I never got to meet her because I quit gcb today. Do not go there, they do not care about their clients.
