My family was in need of services and fast and before I could even reach out to them Militza Cajigas reached out to me and offered in home services for the family. I was apprehensive at first.... but glad it worked out! I feel it's important to click with your MSW Clinician, especially when working with teens, for effective sessions and results and my family definitely does click with Militza! She is very caring and understanding and has gone above and beyond for my family thus far and I'm looking forward to continuing services ....

Uwanda Coleman was so amazingly helpful—she was the expert our family needed to help us navigate family and school challenges, while always being so kind and gentle. Managing our special-needs child was and still is very complicated. How could I get through the daily and exhausting demands from parenting? And then, there were rights and services for students and parents, within the school system, of which I was not often aware.  With the support and expertise from Uwanda, I was able to start learning how to build structure and limits within our family. And just as important, she guided and taught me to work with the school, educating me with school policies, which in turn successfully enabled us to move our child from a sub-separate class to mainstream. This was a big win! He is now learning in areas, he may not have learned otherwise. Uwanda was influential, phenomenal in helping to support and empower me with the information I needed to work with our school. I still draw on her advice to manage our family’s stressful times. She will always have a special place in our home. Thank you Uwanda!

We have had Maureen as a provider for nearly a year now. As a family who has had these kinds of services on board for over a decade, I can honestly say Maureen is among the best we’ve ever had. She is knowledgeable and compassionate, and perhaps most importantly… accessible and effective. That is quite rare in my experience. We are currently engaged in parallel services with another provider. When they followed up with us after collaborating with Maureen on our case, they described her as a “unicorn” and longed for every therapist to be as fantastic as Maureen. I couldn’t agree more.
