Caring, organized. Wonderful experience every time

I did the tour of the clinic and filled out the intake forms in April. I asked if they could start services for my child in July and they said, “yes, we should be able to.” Fast forward to August and I was still waiting to see if Guiding Light was working to get the treatment plan for my child approved by my insurance. I had high hopes for this clinic. They wrote an awesome treatment plan for my child, but it did not get approved by my insurance. I thought that they would work on editing the treatment plan until it got approved, but they didn’t. There I was, calling my insurance every few days. I was calling Guiding Light every few days to see if there were any updates. If Guiding Light really wanted my child, they would have done everything they could. They would have called my insurance to see exactly what needed to be done, what exactly needed to be changed in the treatment plan so that services for my child could finally get started. But Guiding Light didn’t. And Lord knows my child really needed the care (my child has severe autism). Based on the good reviews online, I thought that Guiding Light truly cared. But they just left me and my child hanging. I was hanging on to hope that the treatment plan would get approved by my insurance soon. I was hanging on to hope that services would start soon. They act like they care, or they pretend to care. But at the end of the day, Guiding Light is a business. They didn’t want to deal with my child, and they didn’t want to deal with my insurance. And I guess there was no polite way of ever telling me that. Again, Guiding Light just left me and my child hanging and it was very hurtful. But it’s okay because my child is doing well in school now. My child’s teacher and aides are very kind and patient. My child’s teacher and aides genuinely care and take good care of my child.

Poor communication. Owner never replied to my emails. You notice how there are only really great reviews and really bad reviews for this clinic? There are no in betweens.

Guiding Lights has been such a blessing for our family, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the care that both of my children receive here. From the very first day, the staff made us feel welcomed and understood, and their compassion and dedication shine through in everything they do. The therapists take the time to truly know each child, their strengths, challenges, and personalities, and they create individualized plans that help them thrive. I’ve seen incredible progress in my kids’ confidence, communication, and daily life skills, and I always feel supported as a parent with open communication and guidance along the way. Guiding Lights doesn’t just provide therapy; they genuinely care about the children and families they serve, and it shows in every interaction.

This is place is amazing. My daughters growth other the last year had been tremendous and it’s all due to the work, Guiding light concepts puts in with the youth at there facility. Would highly recommend
