There aren't enough stars in the universe to remove that would make this review even more worth it. I've had an appointment through this joke of a place for 5 months and that because EVERYTIME an hour before the appointment (that includes taking time off work and kids out of school- I have 4) I get a call saying the comedian (therapist) is "sick" or "had an emergency". If I did that inside of a day cancelation, I'd get reprimanded and get a strike against me but this is, again, 5 months in the making and sadly I couldn't go elsewhere because of-you guessed it- insurance which is probably why this comedy office building exists and are able to operate as such. No wonder these offices are closing like crazy. They hire clowns! Do yourself a favor folks. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. There are other offices not affiliated with Harbor that take your insurance and chances are your insurance pays for rides to appointments so take the opportunity and DONT GO TO HARBOR

if i could rate a 0 I would. I have been with harbor for about 4 years and they have been nothing but disinterested in patient’s time, care, and wellbeing. Out of the 10 different therapists that I tried, not a single one could form a connection or remain consistent with their care for me. Psychiatrists are rude, and so are the nursing assistants. It’s clear that they don’t want to do their job. Every single time that I have been referred to a nurse or supervisor, without fail, they never pick up the phone OR return calls. When I voice an issue to my psychiatrist, the answer is always “you are seeking a diagnosis.” It took 3 years of asking for ADHD/ Autism screening for them to finally believe my testimonies that I needed those services, and the waitlist was over a year. The best part is, when my psychiatrist transferred to a different company, I was never informed. Not even an email or a call. I had to call and schedule an appointment just to be informed that he was no longer with Harbor, and that I was not on the list of people to reach out to because of an appointment cancellation. DO NOT SEEK SERVICES HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR WELL BEING.

It’s hard to get in touch with people at the Sylvania Location

My son had an assessment done to see if he would qualify for services. She told me I would get a call to schedule my son's next step into the program if he needs it. Last week, Sunday evening. My phone rang once, and a voice message was left to return the call to get my son scheduled for a psychological evaluation. For a couple of days, I received no call back. So I called the main scheduling. I told her the woman's name and said I had to get my son's psychological evaluation. She scheduled for my son, with a man. A week later, from the missed call, the woman calls to schedule. I informed her I had made the appointment already. She snapped very quickly with an attitude and said it was for medication. She said when I made the appointment, I didn't make myself clear or something. I'm pretty sure PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION doesn't sound like MEDICATION.. I even told the scheduling of the woman's name who called, who does the scheduling for those appointments. It was also confirmed at the end of the call that it was for a PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION. Well, my son's appointment was rescheduled (with the same guy) for 10 days later. I'm not sure why the attitude for wanting my son to get the help he needs. Maybe she felt her toes got stepped on when I went past her and straight to scheduling.. it's not about her, though. It's about a toddler getting the help he needs to develop. I didn't use names, in case any form or relation is done, which might compromise my child's help. Hopefully, no other problems arise for my son. UNFORTUNATELY, yet another issue has come. my son had his first appointment set for the end of February. The woman canceled. She said she had a meeting she would be in. I have been calling since the following day after she called to reschedule. I can't get anybody on the phone in scheduling. Nobody is returning my calls. Update... it took 3 months for them to schedule him his first appointment. This has been ongoing since October 2022!!! 2024, after 7 appointments canceled by 3 different therapists. The new one calls me. "We don't think your son needs our services anymore. He has made great progress with us." YOU NEVER SEEN HIM! The only appointment my child was seen was with the guy who sat him on the floor with a doll, blanket, a truck for 10 minutes, and left us. Came back and said, "Your son smiled at the doll. He isn't autistic. He has aniexty." Save your time and energy and get your children proper and professional help anywhere else! They REFUSE to diagnose a child properly. Their reasoning as to why my son isn't on the spectrum... "he smiled while playing with toys." They didn't do proper Autistic testing on my child.

This is in regards to chrysalis program. My wife drove 2 and a half hours with our small children to visit her family member in the program, she was turned away for being a few minutes late. There is obviously power struggles within their management. Pretty obvious they cornered the struggling mother market and got complacent.

My daughter sees Amanda Chagolla at the Sylvania location. Amanda is friendly, pleasant informed and doesn't waste time. Prior to knowing exactly what integrated care meant, I mistakenly gave her a low rating but I now understand more and take it back. she's only the physician, at harbor take advantage of other help available! There are case managers, case workers, counselors, etc. Numerous different positions, all a part of the same spectrum. 🌈🏥👩🏼‍⚕️👨🏻‍⚕️🧕🏽🧑‍🔬👩🏿‍💻🏢✨ I think Harbor is doing better..At the end of c0v!d everyone was rather discombobulated and Harbor was no exception. I'm happy to report that they seem to be running fairly smoothly again and I hope to continue on there. Thanks!

My daughter started going here and they have been professional and helpful. They were able to start therapy and were able to get her evaluated immediate as well has help treat her. These people care about our children and want to see them get help and not struggle. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs counseling or mental health treatment.
