My names Skylar Esser I had just gotten out of there February 20th, if any of my homies at Haven see this. Thank you ALL for making my stay so amazing. The people I have met along my mental health journey has been so amazing and I absolutely loved it. Met some of the most amazing people and staff, they treated me like I was human and acknowledged when I was struggling to stay up and going on the right path. It may have been a little scary due to some of the people who were also struggling. But I know they cant help it and theres not much a lot of staff can do about certain things. Overall, I want to say thank you to the staff at that amazing place. JEANIE is amazing!! We're basically around the same age and I feel like I clicked so well with a lot of the staff. Everyone was so nice and friendly, even the people who scared the hell out of me. Love everyone on PAGOD ❤️ And thank you all so much for looking after me. Miss my girls Rita, Dawn, Karla, and Jasmine, and I even met my Doppleganger with the same name as me 🥹. My boys, the Daniel's, Josh, Tony, and even David. Low key miss the screaming at 1am confusingly 😂😂 I miss it there and wish I could have stayed their longer! Miss all you beautiful wonderful staff so much. Thank you all so much for your help with my struggles. I became the best version of myself when I came home. Made my birthday great in there too ❤️ Everyone told me Happy Birthday and made my day wonderful. I have been so happy being out here all thanks to the amazing staff! 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Hey, it's Angela Wilcosky, a former patient at Haven. I just wanna say thank you for helping me with a majority of my mental health problems, especially the voices and PTSD. Like idk why people were complaining about this place, because this place was great! The staff were nice, the food was good, and they rewarded me with printouts of my favorite characters from shows I watch such as Sword Art Online and Hazbin Hotel. PS tell everyone at Tower unit I said THANK YOU!!!!!!

I’m the wife of a recently discharged patient, and I truly want to highlight the incredible support we received from Reese, the inpatient social worker. From the very beginning, she was honest and transparent about the process, even letting us know that she was the only social worker covering the unit at the time. She apologized for any delays and explained that the team is implementing a new system that everyone is still learning, which helped us understand the workflow and set realistic expectations. Despite the heavy workload, Reese stayed communicative, patient, and attentive to our needs. She made sure we were updated, answered every question with care, and never made us feel rushed. Her professionalism and compassion made a stressful time so much more manageable. We are extremely grateful for her dedication and the way she advocated for my husband every step of the way. Highly recommend Reese to any family navigating inpatient care, she is truly exceptional.

They don’t allow patients, fresh air or exercise. How is that conducive to recovery? Even people who are incarcerated are allowed time outdoors. They also keep the place at like 85° at all times which is also a stressor. They hold your loved ones hostage with very little communication. I have given up trying to call my husband’s unit because every time I get disconnected or hung up on or told that they can can’t find him. Thank God he’s allowed to make outgoing calls. Otherwise I would have no idea what’s going on. I have left three messages for his social worker and still no phone call back. He’s been there for three days and finally his doctor called me. There is no way that I should have to wait that long to find out how my loved one is doing. I am reporting these poor practices to the appropriate government agencies tomorrow. It’s clear that this place doesn’t give a crap they're just a part of the machine. Oh whoever job it is to respond to these things saying they can’t respond directly because of privacy laws and to call the number that they’ve provided on every other negative review is complete crap. It’s the general number for the hospital, so good luck trying to find the appropriate person to relay your complaint to RESPONSE TO THE "OWNER" RESPONSE - you don't know who I am, who my husband is, etc. so HOW are you proposing to do ANYTHING about the complaints I have listed - you say you will be "looking into this" not sure how that is possible when you don't know who/what/when/where we are talking about. So basically, lip service. You COULD offer me a phone number of someone in charge who actually might listen. And I also visited the facility last weekend - small, cramped, uninviting, not so clean, super stuffy. No wonder so many people say they are worse coming out of there. Literally the overall vibe was confinement and oppression.

The therapists at the partial program are amazing especially jade and the intern Santa but the medication management was very poor

This place is all about taking medications and giving medications for money. “Take your meds and shut up” should be their motto. A lot of good people work there, but the Doctors seem to be getting numb. They do not care about your mental health, just the dollar sign you represent. No therapy. The doctors and social workers go missing for days and then try and hide from people so they do not have to do their job. “Dr” Eluri would not listen and seems to only want to prescribe medication. Not a true psychiatrist or Dr. Then, if you don’t take your meds, you are disobedient and they tack on days to your stay. I’d choose a place that cares about you or your loved one, and understands psychology, not just gives medications. Mustafa Kareem was also another “doctor” that did not seem to care nor listen. Very full of himself and he didn’t like being wrong. Natasha Jean-Louis, the social worker, was the worst. She broke HIPPA and released medical records to people not on a release. That’s illegal and will be filed with HIPPA. She literally hid everyday and would not even be at the specified meeting times. Just an all around terrible job by her. I will say that some of the workers there, Monica and Anthony, were awesome. As well as a few others. Overall I would give 0 stars. Go anywhere else.

Worst ever! Staff rude, my son has been assaulted numerous times! Cannot reach out any one to file complaints!" Trying to CONTACT , THE Department of Health, this is not acceptable whatsoever!!!!!

I am a high risk patient discharged today at 10 am with supposedly a bed at a local shelter along with another patient from haven. There was no beds available. I am on the streets sitting at sheetz with no place to sleep. I am talking with a lawyer tomorrow. I was told it was first come first serve but the shelter holds beds for people and is full.they said they are lucky to have one bed available a night.so I am on the streets with no shelter or shower or bed. I called to ask for a motel room for the night.its the least they could do. I was told by Shawn to readmit myself into a hospital. That's what my insurance paid thousands of dollars for and was also told "why are you calling here you are no longer a patient ". Bottom line is my insurance stopped paying them so they no longer care. They want people in dangerous situations. It's ridiculous I couldn't get a motel room paid for. I am seeking legal action against them. I was set up for failure. I wouldn't recommend any insurance paying for treatment there. I was supposed to be set up with a safe discharge. So much for that. They just made 30000 on me and wouldn't pay for a motel so I could be safe because I'm in the situation I am because of them.

We had a few hiccups when my family member was admitted here, but the entire staff was very understanding and able to help get things addressed and on the right track with the medical care. Dr Ramesh Eluri is absolutely wonderful! He takes the time to really listen to the family, and makes you feel heard in addition to his great medical expertise. His caring disposition is very comforting. We have been very happy with the nurses, and social workers. The communication and care has been great.

Please don’t send your loved ones here! This place does more harm than good. My boyfriend was discharged yesterday, and he says he’s worse off than when he went in. He had been battling severe depression, and decided it was time for inpatient help. The local hospital sent them to this facility because they were able to manage his type 1 diabetes. He saw the doctor once in his 4-day stay, and a social worker twice. There was no one on one therapy or any actual help. They just medicated him and observed to see how he would react to it. No mental stimulation or activities either, the only things available were a few books. Some of the staff were nice, while others were rude. The only good thing I will say is that they did let me stay to visit a few minutes later than visiting hours because I drove 2 hours to get there. The nicest staff person I interacted with did not even work in that unit normally. There are also some patient safety concerns. All of the patients are able to wander the unit freely, and aggressive patients are able to be with non-aggressive patients with no close supervision. My boyfriend said there was a patient that would regularly scream at others, threatened to kill them, and at one point this patient was banging on a wall while screaming explicatives for 2 hours. Nothing was done about any of it, and my boyfriend said he did not feel at all safe. There was absolutely no communication with me about my boyfriend’s care plan, progress, or any updates. Everything I got was directly from him in the little time he was allowed to use the patient phone. The building itself was a little janky. The entire first floor was ripped apart, empty, and looked like it was under construction. Which in itself would be okay, but I can see how that would be off putting for someone coming to this building for psychiatric care. In addition, there was barely any guidance on where to go. A security guard read off a paper in the doorway instructions on how to get to the unit, but once he sends you through the doors, you are on your own, quite literally because there was absolutely no one around. On the way out from visiting I spent about 10 minutes wandering the empty floor trying to get out because nothing was labeled. Overall not a good experience.
