I see several providers through Sokya/Headlight Health, and every one of them has been life changing for the better. I have had mixed impressions of therapy in the past, but these ladies showed me what it meant to have someone really listen and help you grow and learn, rather than just trying to tell you how they think someone is supposed to be. Lindsey Russell helped me adjust to the big move here to Alaska when I was struggling with the stress of a new home and new job. Kathleen Matthews worked with me to determine a diagnosis which I had gone without for 35+ years, and now have properly medicated and can manage my life so much better, which allows me to live much fuller. Jeanie Winstrom I want to give extra special thanks to. She took me through a course of EMDR which allowed me to face many things which were weighing me down for far too long. It is now so much easier to smile, to communicate with people, to trust myself, and to interact genuinely with each moment. I really appreciate this whole team from the bottom of my heart.

There’s nothing wrong with the therapists but headlight/sokoya outsource their office work and are just overall horrible at communication. Just try a different company.

Awesome staff and really easy practice to work with!

I have been using a couple of different providers through Sokya Health including Jeff Bernstein and Kathleen Matthews. They are top notch health care professionals and truly exceptional members of my care team. I have POTS and complicated issues and they have been my biggest champions and I really appreciate their empathy and compassion as well as excellence in their respective practices. I've never had issues with billing, insurance, appointments, records, prescriptions or referrals. Even cancelling same day has not been an issue which seems to be growing fee based offense in medical practices (which is ridiculous unless it's a no show and no communication). Sometimes the scheduling staff can be a little slow and as they grow it seems they're working out issues with new systems but nothing that frustrating really. I will continue to trust Sokya Health with my care and hope to take advantage of more of their therapy options as financial resources become available to me again.
