"I am writing this to warn others. I specifically attended their Cottonwood Heights location, which conveniently does not allow reviews (likely to hide the truth), so I am posting this here. In my opinion, this business is a grift. It felt like a 'Mickey Mouse' operation with a 'Radio Shack' quality setup, yet they charge premium prices. I am a medical cannabis patient with severe PTSD. When I was in crisis and 'exploded'—a symptom of the very condition I was paying them to treat—the CEO kicked me out instead of offering care. That abandonment caused me severe distress and nearly cost me my life. I was lucky to eventually find a real trauma therapist at Cornerstone (a non-profit) who actually saved me. Cornerstone knew how to handle complex trauma without shaming me. Do not waste your money on this place. Go to a non-profit or a real clinic that cares about healing, not just 'boundaries' and billing."

My partner finally agreed to do the work in therapy after experiencing severe dissociation and PTSD symptoms following multiple triggering events, and was agreed to be taken on by a clinician here that sounded promising. She was given homework and life changes in which she was working diligently towards, the therapist recommend she do specific homework, specific coping skills, read a specific book, talk to me what was going on, and quit her job. And she did it all, but within 24 hours of the 2nd appointment the receptionist called and informed her she was being recommended to a therapist 35 minutes away (she can’t drive very well currently due to symptoms), and utilizes interventions that are not the gold standard for what she is experiencing. I found this out yesterday after probing my partner for questions about her “new therapist”, only to find out that she was dropped with no referrals or explanations provided, even though as a therapist myself I know we need to give at least 3 referrals and a discharge session or at the very least a phone call for ethical and safe termination. My partner is left with no job, no desire to find a new therapist, and essentially hopeless about healing. These practices are unsafe, unethical, not trauma informed, in fact are trauma inducing, and I will continue to push my partner to report to DOPL. As a therapist, I would never recommend my clients work with providers with ethics like this, and encourage you to steer clear of this practice.

Save yourself a ton of time and frustration by simply seeking out a solo therapist with good reviews in the area, because in my experience, a solo therapist with good reviews is much more likely to respond to your message and follow through than this chaotic, incompetent agency. I spent over 3 months trying to get started with therapy @ Healing Pathways, and they repeatedly didn’t follow through so I finally wised up and went elsewhere. They never answer the phone. Their voicemail message asks you to leave a message, text or email them which I did multiple times before receiving a response. When they finally sent a message responding, it was clear they not listened to/read any of my messages, asked me what I was contacting them about it and asked me to call them at the same number (that they never answer) which I did and received no response. I had to email, text and call several more times before receiving a response. When I did receive communication from someone, the message didn’t identify who was sending/leaving the message and I received vastly different information from one person/message to the next. At one point, I was told they had scheduled some appointments for me that they ended up canceling, without communicating a reason to me. They told me they would get back with me to reschedule and never did. I wish I would’ve sought out a solo therapist with good reviews in the first place who doesn’t drop the ball, which would have saved me a so much time and frustration, and many months of my life!

I have been seeing Eleanor Asma at the cottonwood heights location and she has been amazing! She is patient, kind, and listens even when I'm just ranting or don't really know how I'm feeling. EMDR seems to be working and I'm glad I found a great person to continue my healing journey with.

This is a terrible place to try and get treatment from and their free 15 minute consultation is a joke. Even though I emailed back and forth and clearly stated I just wanted the consultation to make sure we are a good fit before I started, I even filled out all the paper work, they booked me for an intake and because I'm thinking I'm going to be getting a call I'm getting anxious that I haven't heard anything. When you call the office all you get is a recording that they are in the office but can't answer the phone. The therapist called me asking if I knew we had an appointment and I let her know it was just a consultation. So we talked and set up another consultation a week later. She said she would call me and I thought that was that. I even got a text reminder about it and then again no call. I look at my credit card and I got charged for a no show and yet again when I call the office all I get is a voice recording. So frustrating!!!
