We have been bringing our son to Heartland for over a year now, and I cannot express enough thanks for the help we (parents) and our son have received. He has improved by leaps and bounds, and everyone at Heartland is amazing. They’re always open with communication and I cannot explain how happy I am we got to work with Laura, Emma, Karen, Bailey, and all the other staff at Heartland.

All of the therapists are wonderful professionals and individuals! Our son would not be where he is today without their hard work to help him grow in so many ways. And Laura is terrific to work with every week, too!

What a blessing Heartland Speech has been for my family. My son has been attending Speech and OT sessions here for 4 years to assist with speech development and management of sensory needs for autism. Every single therapist is like a family member, and they advocate for my son like he was their own flesh and blood. When we first started out, Laura would walk my son across the street personally from the nearby daycare. When my insurance company wanted to try to deny my son coverage, they spent hours advocating for my son to receive the care he needs. They have been open and honest about all aspects of my sons therapy journey, and have been receptive and adaptive to any suggestions or modifications I have requested. They worked directly with my sons school special education representative to assure a harmonious strategy across his entire day. I have no doubt that each and every member of their team loves my son like their own, and would do anything they could do assure his development is a success. I can not say enough praise for Heartland and the positive impact they have had in my family’s life.

My son has worked with the amazing staff at Heartland for over 5 years. The speech and occupational therapists have helped my son become the awesome kid he is today. They have altered their strategies to accommodate him while he grows. We have had the pleasure of working with several of the therapists and they, along with Laura in the front, are all like family. Thank you Beth, Heather, Karen and Laura for your continued passion for your work. You are all amazing!!!

Heartland is such a blessing to our family! My grandson has been coming here since last fall after receiving his cochlear implants and he is making so much progress on his hearing and communication journey. I am so impressed with all the staff we have come in contact from our ST Beth, to the front desk help Laura. They have developed creative ways to keep our family updated on his progress and are so very caring along the way. My 2 year old grandson is so excited to see the team when we come! I would give them a million stars if I could!

Heartland Speech and OT has quite simply been amazing for our family. My twin boys have received both speech and OT services through Heartland for the last 4.5+ years. The providers are top notch and caring. The owners have really created a positive environment for everyone involved. They’ve always been understanding and accommodating of all of our circumstances over the years. We have seen such improvement in my boys over the years and it’s a true testament to Heartland’s hard work and dedication. We honestly feel less like patients and more like family here. I couldn’t think of a better atmosphere for my children to learn and grow and I am so grateful that we’ve been able to receive services from Heartland. I would recommend them to everyone needing speech and OT services; it will be the best decision you can make for your child!

One of my sons has been in speech therapy with Karen for six years. He has been able to make so much progress, not only with speech and communication, but also in self-confidence and socialization. Karen has consistently adapted to all of his needs and interests, and been an absolute gem. My youngest son recently started speech therapy with Beth, and we couldn't be happier with his progress. Heartland is the only place our shy little guy will willingly and enthusiastically go with anyone else besides his dad and me. It's heartwarming to see how quickly he and Beth have bonded. In addition to the amazing services my sons receive here, Heartland is like a small community of supportive staff and families. I have made friends in the waiting room, and they regularly have drives to help families and organizations. This is a wonderful place for the whole family!
