Heyday Speech and Language Therapy

We are so grateful to have found Heyday. My son has been working with Nicole for the past few months and we see improvements each week with his speech. It is the highlight of his week, and he skips into his sessions with so much excitement! Can’t recommend Nicole and heyday enough!

Nicole has been amazing! Our daughter struggled with speech articulation that was affecting her confidence and we wanted to get her help before kindergarten. We started in June and set 6 month goals, but with all of Nicole’s help our girl was passing these goals by August and September. She even looks forward to her weekly appointments. This is such a great place!!

Renee is a wonderful speech therapist, and we really appreciate all she has done to help us navigate beginning to use an AAC device with our autistic toddler. Our toddler always expresses joy and excitement when he recognizes where we are going and runs right into his session every time. We love that Renee embraces and celebrates neurodiversity and takes the time to make sure our son is comfortable and having fun while learning. She has a wonderful space for children and obviously has put a ton of thought into the types of toys and sensory experiences she provides. Personally, I also really like that she usually has a student helping and learning from her. Her students are always a nice addition to sessions. We love Renee, and would especially recommend her to anyone who has a child on the spectrum or who is interested in learning about AAC devices.

We are beyond grateful for the care, patience, and dedication Renee has shown my son. From the very beginning, she created a safe and welcoming environment where he felt comfortable to express himself, grow, and learn. Over time, we’ve seen such meaningful progress. She takes the time to understand his individual needs, celebrates every small win with us, and collaborates closely to make sure therapy aligns with his goals and personality. It’s clear she genuinely cares, and her passion shines through in every session. As a parent, there’s nothing more comforting than knowing your child is in good hands. We truly feel lucky to have her on our team! Thank you, Renee!

Renee is the most empathetic, compassionate, passionate, knowledgeable, experienced, flexible, current, best practice provider we’ve ever experienced! She is truly a gift for the neurodivergent community. The relationship she has made with my son is just so sweet. I have to be carful on when I let my son know it’s a therapy day. Once he knows, he will just stand by the door with his backpack in eager anticipation of playing with Renee. She sees my son as the charming, complex, capable child that he is, and he can feel that. She genuinely cares and wants to know who he is. I’m so grateful to have her and heyday speech in our corner. 10/10 highly recommend!

Our experience with Renee has been night and day compared to our experience at a more traditional clinic - she is extremely knowledgeable and my son's engagement level is high in each session as she allows each session to be child-led in terms of play activities with speech work embedded in each one. Her office is lovely and our son is excited to come to each appointment. She also truly appreciates our son's strengths and quirks which is invaluable!
