I visited Dr. Consbruck's office last week for evaluation upon referral for Colorado DDS. While he had a certain set of parameters to discuss and the scope of our business was limited, I could tell he was highly interested in understanding my experience, journey, and it's impact on my functioning as my best self. He was the first non-military/VA provider I have spoken with after decades of MH services. My visit w as prompted following a particularly rough last three years which led to my resignation from work in 2021 and a long wait for VA program availability for focused treatments. This presented great anxiety to have a lot riding on what could be shared in an hour, and in hindsight, I could have answered or shared some impacts differently. Nevertheless, whatever the outcome of the state's decision, I highly recommend his services as a provider. Particularly if you have experienced long term struggles and would like a knowledgeable and genuinely interested perspective on where you're at and how to recover for the next healthy step on your path. We didn't get there in my evaluation visit, but if I had the financial means or insurance to visit for treatment I surely would return to Hidden Peaks. The doctor was welcoming and did not leave awkward silences. The tone was conversational, yet pointed toward obtaining and giving information. The chairs, however lovely, were deep and made me squirm.

Dr. Consbruck is professional and knowledgeable. I like a therapist that can listen and provide coping strategies for issues that I have had for a while now. Thank you !
