We were fortunate to connect with Holistic Development Center through ORS in June, 2023, when my daughter became employed while attending her transition program. It quickly became clear to me how deeply dedicated and committed the HDC staff is to the individuals they serve. I knew then that I wanted to continue working with them as my daughter transitioned to Adult Services. Lauren Roth's and Kathryn Mahoney's knowledge and insight helped us tremendously in navigating this next phase of my daughter's life. HDC primarily supports my daughter at her job. They have facilitated different volunteer opportunities for her in the community and regularly accommodate our requests for participation in small group community activities. All of the staff are kind and compassionate and they willingly offer the extra love and nurturing that my daughter sometimes needs. They are reliable, as well, and we have never had a situation where my daughter had to miss work, or was unable to participate in a community activity, because of a staffing issue. I appreciate that HDC sees my daughter holistically, as a whole person with unique strengths, needs and potential, always adapting their approach to what works best for her. They are attuned to her sensitivities, always handling any concerns with respect and genuine understanding. This gentle approach has helped my daughter build trust in them while feeling safe and understood. HDC's passion for empowering individuals with disabilities to reach their personal and employment goas, and thrive in both the community and workplace, is evident in all they do. Thanks to their outstanding staff, my daughter continues to make meaningful progress towards increased confidence and greater independence in her daily life and at her job. They are respectful and kind and this puts me completely at ease knowing she is in such caring and capable hands. We are blessed to be a part of the HDC community and I look forward to continuing our relationship in the years to come.

My son has been with Lauren, Kathryn and their employees for 4 years now. Their support and guidance has given us a sense of peace as he navigates the adult world. He now has a license to drive and is living independently in an apartment. The road has not always been easy, but they are are available (more than most) through email, phone calls and text messages to address any issues or questions we may have had. We could not be in better hands and are extremely grateful to have found them.

Lauren Roth, Kathryn Mahoney, and HDC staff have been incredibly helpful and supportive, providing guidance and supervision as we work on helping my young adult son develop the skills to live more independently. We have a long way to go, but knowing they're here to help gives me hope.

HDCRI is a game-changer for our family. Kathryn’s and Lauren’s support of our son has been critical to his development into an independently-living, gainfully-employed, healthily-cooking/eating, financially-fluent, and responsibility-taking young man. And as if that weren’t enough, their group of clients has provided our guy with a sense of community that a) we never before appreciated as so critical to his growth and b) we couldn’t have imagined actually existed. Most importantly though, thanks to HDC, we are feeling more and more as if our son can thrive in a world that we (as parents) don’t constantly have to manipulate to accommodate him. We know that one day we won’t be here, and it gives us a true sense of peace as we see more and more each day that he will be just fine on his own (maybe a bit morbid, but hey, that’s reality and weighs heavily.) Kathryn Mahoney and Dr. Lauren Roth have been so wonderful, their support for our ASD son has been incredible in just a few short months time, the support, tools and expertise of Lauren and Kathryn have been tremendous our son has been given tools for his growth and confidence and has made so much progress and we can see him now becoming a more independent and capable adult.

Kathryn Mahoney and Dr. Lauren Roth are very professional, caring, supportive, and always follow up on my progress. I highly recommend their services. Also there’s a dunkin’ donuts downstairs and they’re chill if you grab something 😊❤️🌸🐰🍩 also they help me with my ADHD by assisting with organizing school work and study habits, also keeping in contact with my teachers.

Dr. Roth & Kathryn Mahoney, have been instrumental in the development, growth and confidence building for our son. He has been going to Holistic Development for nearly a year now and i have seen huge improvement in all areas without any meds being prescribed (there's a first) . Highly recommended!

Dr. Lauren Roth and Kathryn Mahoney are two very knowledgeable, experienced , and professional entrepreneurs who very creatively joined their extensive backgrounds to start their Development Center from the ground up. I became the legal guardian of a young child who had just turned 10 years old almost 9 years ago. When "M" entered the ninth grade in 2014 she was evaluated and diagnosed with Autism Disorder, Attachment Disorder, and very low Executive Functioning. Though "M" has been in Counseling and Therapy since I met her, High School became her nemesis. In her Senior Year, I was discouraged for her and was at a loss. A friend recommended HDC!! Dr. Roth and Kathryn were "A God Send". At our first meeting, I could not have been more impressed. After almost one year my final impressions are: professional, kind, compassionate, patient, resourceful, organized, and goal oriented.... their goal is take care of this child, handling all aspects of her life, teaching them to become independent, and successful individuals. To many children, this comes naturally and easily. Dr. Roth and Kathryn know otherwise and are perfect for those young children who flounder, looking for the right path. I thank them for the guidance they gave "M" and me!!!
