HoneyBee Pediatric Therapy

We had such a wonderful experience with Jackie, who worked with our infant daughter from 7 months - 11 months old. Jackie created a proactive treatment plan that was actionable and tailored to our family. We saw fantastic results - would highly recommend Honeybee Pediatrics!

From the first day Jackie Brideau walked through our door...we knew we were in good hands. Our daughter seemed to trust her almost immediately and she was still especially shy with strangers at that age so, we were both shocked. Her kind and reassuring demeanor put our daughter's mind at ease and allowed her to feel so comfortable. My wife would send me videos of the visit while I was away at work, and it was often the highlight of my day to see her so happy with the physical therapy sessions. I especially appreciated how much faith Jackie had in our daughter's ability to succeed, as this was sometimes the only assurance my wife and I had that everything would eventually be OK.

Our experience with HoneyBee was excellent. Jackie was amazing and my daughter loved the sessions. She thought her friend was coming to play with her. I saw a huge improvement from the first session to the last. Thank you so much!

We saw Melissa from Honey Bee weekly and then every other week for around 3 months to address some asymmetries and motor delays we were seeing in our baby who had struggled with torticollis and reflux that made him averse to tummy time. When we started our baby had only recently started rolling from back to belly, but was doing so only in one direction, and strongly favored playing and gripping with his right hand. After just one session with Melissa we began seeing huge progress, and over the following months we were able to 1) correct his head tilting; 2) get him to equally use his left hand; 3) get him rolling in both directions; 4) get him to transition from sitting to all 4s and back to sitting; and 5) (finally) CRAWL! We are so grateful to Melissa for giving us the tools to work with our baby to address his challenges through play-based methods. He had fun interacting with her and she was gentle and kind, so that he never even realized he was doing physical therapy. We highly recommend Melissa to anyone in a similar situation with concerns about their child’s motor milestones. our only regret is that we didn’t find her sooner!

A fantastic provider. They come to you and use your kids’ toys, etc. My exorbitantly shy daughter immediately took to Jackie, her therapist. Jackie is warm and patient, and was masterful at playing with my daughter while getting her to do exercises. She has made huge improvements and I credit it to Jackie and HoneyBee. We would not hesitate to use their services again.

We loved working with Jackie! We started working with her (pre-COVID) because our daughter was behind on gross motor skills. She stayed with us until our daughter was walking and totally caught up. She was so, so lovely and helpful and encouraging. Even when we had to switch to tele-health, she was really helpful and communicative.

We worked with Jackie for almost a year and loved our experience. She was extremely helpful in noticing where our son was progressing on track, ahead of track or behind track developmentally. She recommended specific toys and exercises when she identified opportunities and then would circle back to make sure we had mastered the exercises to do ourselves with our son and that the exercises had been effective. Highly recommend.
