Hunan Hut is such a gem! We have gone a few times, and it is always so delicious. The family who owns the place is also very friendly. Highly recommend!!
I believe Hunan Hut mostly deals with takeout, but we ate inside at one of the few available tables. The food was absolutely delicious. Made a point of ordering two different soups, two appetizers as well as two entrees. Everything was seasoned perfectly. Portions were more than generous and required that we take some home. We would definitely go here again, and recommend it to others.
Had them deliver a bunch of food to my son who lives in Binghamton. Food was great and the communication with ordering and delivery was great as well.
EXCELLENT food, prices, & customer service!!! They're now my FAVORITE Chinese Restaurant in the area!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND the roast pork w/ broccoli!!! It's SMOOOOOTH!!! No fat or grizzle & a REALLY NICE taste!!! This place is a hidden gem - literally. They're located right off Main St. in Binghamton across from Aaron's & Pump House Fitness. You gotta turn onto Hamilton St. & they're the first bldg/parking lot on the right. Also, I love that they send you a text w/ your order# & a link to the details so you know they got the order right, the price, & how soon your food will be ready (see attached).
The Szechuan Dumplings are by far the best ive ever had, and the cold noodles! Yum! I love this place! Best chinese food in Binghamton!
I got egg drop soup and a shrimp egg roll. I know it's a simple order, but it was hot and ready in under 10min. The soup was one of the better ones I've had in the area. The egg roll was crispy, seasoned on the inside, and made me want to go back for more.
Food was delicious. Great service, very friendly, plus they're open on Sundays! They have a promotion: buy 10 entrees, get the next one free..we'll get that in no time.
Our family dined here in August 2025. It seems the restaurant is more a takeout restaurant but offers a dine in area. While the takeout menu only offers Chinese-American cuisine, the dine in menu includes both Chinese-American and authentic Chinese cuisine. The owner waited on us while her husband (also an owner) and mom worked the kitchen. They were very welcoming. We mentioned that our kids have peanut allergies when we ordered pan-fried dumplings, wonton soup, beef with broccoli, General Tso’s (dark meat), Singapore mai fun, chicken lo-mein and broccoli in garlic sauce. The dumplings were meaty. The beef was tender and brown sauce was flavorful. The General Tso’s was cooked through, fried well, juicy and delicious. I especially enjoyed the broccoli in garlic sauce. It was sweet and mildly spicy. Our meal was very affordable. The bill was under $100 with tip. These dishes tasted similar to NYC quality. Our kids were all fine and no allergic reactions after the meal. We will definitely return. We want to try the dishes from the authentic Chinese cuisine menu. Thank you for the tasty meal.
