Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
Honestly, this place only gets a one star because the therapist is 5 stars. However, everything else is a bit annoying. I’ve been receiving services since November 2024. January 2025, I was informed that my insurance was no longer being accepted and I would need to pay out of pocket at the start of the year. This was fine as I really enjoyed having sessions with my therapist. However, this was a bold face lie. My insurance was still being accepted with new member sharing the same insurance being brought on. I found out I’ve been paying out of pocket for services I should have NEVER paid for. Instead of actually helping me file a claim with my insurance to get reimbursed, I was simply told that it was filed and I’d hear something back in about 6 months. Three months later, I found out no claim was ever put in for the MULTIPLE MONTHS I paid out of pocket. I feel like I’ve been tossed around completely. My insurance is finally being accepted, but nothing is being done to actually reimburse me as a client. I’d only recommend this place based off of one therapist, but even then it’s not worth this headache.
★☆☆☆☆ Severely Misleading Insurance Info & Hollow Apology I was referred here and specifically chose Bea Brown based on her Psychology Today profile, which listed my insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield). I confirmed this with their staff before scheduling. Six hours before my intake appointment, they informed me they were switching my therapist to a man (the opposite of my stated preference) and that Bea does not, in fact, take my insurance. When confronted, they admitted the error but refused to make it right, offering only a vague promise to contact me "someday" if things change. The hypocrisy is staggering: they would charge a client a late cancellation fee, but they believe it's acceptable to completely change the provider and financial terms with only a few hours' notice. UPDATE - [Later on Oct. 20th at 5:24pm]: The owner responded with an apology, acknowledging their error and promising to update the misleading profile. I replied with the following, which they have now locked the thread to prevent me from posting my response: "Thank you for this public acknowledgment. It's a first step. However, an apology doesn't undo the significant time and emotional energy I invested based on your inaccurate information. I prepared for many days for a session with Bea Brown specifically—her approach was the entire reason I chose your practice. You state you are fixing the profile to prevent this for future clients. A truly sincere commitment to making this right for the client you actually wronged—me—would be to honor the original agreement. But this is about more than a broken appointment. It took me a long time to work up the courage to seek therapy. There's a stigma around it, especially for men. I finally found a provider whose method didn't scare me off, who felt like a safe harbor. And you pulled that out from under me with a six-hour notice. The gesture that would truly resolve this is providing the initial session with Bea Brown that I was promised, at no cost. This would demonstrate that your practice understands the human cost of your error, not just the administrative one. Without this, your apology reads as damage control, not true accountability. And just so you know, this ruined my day." By locking the thread after their corporate apology, they have given their final answer: they are sorry they got caught, not sorry for the harm caused. Let their inaction be the final verdict for anyone reading this. If you value your time and emotional energy, proceed with extreme caution. Verify every single detail directly with your insurance company, because you cannot trust the information provided by this practice. Also, I brought receipts...see the attached screenshots of my text msgs with 180 Red or Imani (whatever they are called lol). (END OF UPDATED REVIEW)
Not stable enough for a person to receive therapy that’s actually beneficial. I had been with this company for almost two years. The first therapist was very helpful in my journey to healing. Unfortunately ,my first therapist left. I ended up with a new person who made me feel like a case study and overlooked my real life experiences and tried to fit me in a box and not work through the trauma , but Only seen the clinical side of things and not my the human life experience that caused issues.
They were good until they weren’t. I really liked the therapist I was working with for psychotherapy, but after working with her for about two weeks, she all of a sudden quit and relocated and then the company also lost another associate one of the receptionist so now everything seems to be backed up. I haven’t heard back. I put in a request for EMDR therapy over a month ago and have not heard back nor heard back about new providers to take over my care Despite being told that it would be addressed And then I’d be notified of who would be taking over it has been over a week now. Every time I try to call to talk to somebody about it it gives me the dialtone. I’ve called three times now to the local Clarksville office.

Highly recommend coming here to see Mrs. Javail Myers. She isnt like any other therapist I have been to . You can have a conversation with her like you are talking to your own family. She really helped me and my husband. We will forever be grateful for her beautiful soul.
I've only been going for about 3 months, and I love the help and encouragement from the staff. Javail Myers is the BOMB!!!! She is so sweet and caring, cares a lot about her work and patients. Highly recommend going to her. She may be new to the company, but she is very true to her work. Very thorough!
