My experience here was good we went on really fun outings and on the weekends if we earned it and had an allowance if we earned it.Some things I suggest are a very structured schedule with self care in them such as daily yoga meditation, aerobics and ti chi,a hike every week, outings on Sunday and Saturday and outing during the week to because it can get pretty boring there, volentearing that you don’t half to eat toearn because volentearing is therapeutic, more therapy’s,much better groups,a wide variety of teas, foods cooked by highly trained chefs, gardens, more entertainment options, something to make the room smell nice, rooms painted calming soothing colors, extremly comfortable bedding, extremly comfordable chairs and pillows, extremely comfortable chairs in the school, the best therapy’s done throughout the week and an extremly comfortable and nice envirement,a therapy dog, horse back riding and art therapy.I also think I’d be good if you guys continuously made this place better and better as long as this place exists.

I experienced this horror of a place about 16 years ago and from the reviews, it seems it hasn't improved. I'll just sum it up as quick as I can. Coming in, I admitted for probably the first time, that I had an eating disorder. I was met with.. "Oh yeah, you could lose a little weight." This proceeded into losing a level if I used more than one Splenda in my tea or eating one apple per day. I was over medicated constantly. I could hardly open my eyes, I was passing out all the time. If I tried to bring it up during my supervised calls to my parents, I was disobedient, lying, etc. Eventually I made it to transitional housing and intentionally overdosed on the plethora of medications they had be dosing me up on because I didn't, couldn't, see a way out. I ended up a lot closer to death than I ever had been prior to this group home I would never wish this place on anyone or. Anyone's child. Save yourself potentially millions and invest in what your child is actually interested in instead. Mayan ruins? Let's go to Yucatan and get some vitamin D while we're at it. Years later, all it took was finding the right medication. But if someone would have just cared enough to wait. To appease the small part of me that enjoyed obscure things until I found that one medicine. I have nightmares all the time about this place.. Still. I was 18. I'm nearly 36 now. That should tell you all it needs to. I'm now far away from Innercept, found the singular medication that helps me exist and surprise, I don't feel hungover or deprived every day. Also, puppies help.

Well, I’m a special teacher in the morning for College and A licensed marriage family, and therapist at night for myself. Let me tell you this is the most amazing place. This place let me sleep at night. I could sleep at night because the care at this facility was above and beyond. My child carries many diagnosis. She was adopted at birth and has been through trauma in utero exposure, and her birth parents had mental illness. This place had amazing staff and protocol for a gentle way to help a young teenagers self regulate. We were able to receive trauma counseling, individual counseling family therapy, and my child’s medication’s were finally working for her thanks to this place and the changes they made. Her therapist was so experienced and on target and helped not only my child heal, but the continuation of our family healing as we had a crime in our house by a trusted neighbor of five years. Little by little self harm stopped or reduced little little hospitalizations reduced and got father apart. They help my child go to school for three hours a day on site. my child enjoyed the cows across the street. They went above and beyond for my child 16th birthday. Not only is this place, professional detailed and oriented towards child centered complex cases. The staff have a heart and give more than 100%. Our school district had to work with them even though they’re not California approved. I was very worried and asked for three parent recommendations before I even placed my child in this program. As you know, if you’re reading this review, you’re making one of life’s hardest decisions and one that you never wanted to make. All the best - I am glad there are programs like this, and I hope they stay in business forever. One satisfied, grateful parent who was in tears when my child was ready to move to the next level due to progress-scared that the next program may not match the quality of this program. Warm wishes on your journey as a parent in this hard process

When you only have one option for your child the level of trust, you have to have in a program (2000 plus miles away)like this is extremely nerve-racking. And no, it doesn’t stop. But it does diminish when you feel you are in the right place. No program is perfect. But these people seem to really care about the child. Have no illusions that there will be peaks and valleys with your child. But I have the trust that Innercept always has a child and the family‘s best interest to resurrect any issue. Innercept tries to attack the root cause before the issue, not the issue after the fact. Beautiful location, lots and lots of prairie dogs, and a very solid program.

I was fortunate enough to participate in Innercept’s Patriot Power Up program that treated my PTSD, anxiety and depression and it changed my life! The facility I stayed in was clean and homey. I felt safe and heard, and the staff was super friendly and professional. I agreed to the treatment at Innercept as a last ditch effort because I had already tried inpatient care at a different inpatient facility that made my anxiety and depression worse. The protocols used at Innercept, however, were comprehensive, timely, and cutting edge. When I went in I was having panic attacks and suicidal thoughts daily. I felt broken and irreparable. I lost all hope of ever feeling better than okay. But after the second week, I felt true happiness and peace for the first time in years. I didn’t even realize that I forgot what good felt like. The remainder of my time there taught me skills to deal with the conditions that plagued me since before I ended my military service. The therapists involved, many of whom are also veterans, didn’t force any ideologies or modalities that didn’t get results. They were patient and caring and treated me like a human rather than a client. After completing the program in November of 2023, my life has improved exponentially! My relationships with my children and spouse have been more open and positive. I don’t have a cloud of fear and anxiety following me around day and night. And, I’m rediscovering my own dreams and goals I’d given up on years ago because I thought my condition was untreatable. I don’t generally give reviews, let alone 5-star reviews, but Innercept is doing it right. They treat the whole person and not just one or two noisy symptoms. I can’t recommend them enough. I honestly don’t know if I’d be here were it not for their care.

Recently attended the Patriot Power Up program for Veterans with PTSD and TBIs. From the very first communication with the Programs CEO Sam Peterson, who is also a Vet. To the Program Administrator Josh, also a vet, the conversations were very welcoming and answered all the questions I had. The care team that they’ve put together along with the accommodations where you stay, this is by far the best program that the VA supports. I felt welcome and relaxed from the time they picked me up at home to the very end is the program. I’ve been dealing with PTSD for over 30 years, and have been to therapy for almost half that time. Yea I’ve gotten many tools to work through my problems, before I got here. Shortly after getting there though you immediately start noticing a difference.
