Irby Psychological Services — Southaven

We had a wonderful experience with everyone we encountered at Irby. I was told what the cost would be up front, before my first appointment. Dr Kristen was easy to talk to and helped us restore peace in our home after a difficult season. I will recommend their services to everyone!

Was there today and it is amazing. Izzy was great. Such a calming atmosphere.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with all the staff at Irby Psychological Services. They have performed evaluations on all three of my children and see each of them for multiple types of therapies. In the case of my youngest child, they were the only ones who took the time to slow down and look at my child thoroughly to break through all the masking of his behaviors to get to the CORRECT diagnosis. Our family has been with Irby Psychological services since day one of their opening and won't be going anywhere any time soon! Just today, they even stayed after "closing time" to take the time to talk to one of my children about some things he was upset about. They understood that addressing the concerns in the moment was what was BEST and NEEDED for him. Some doctors have just rushed us out the door and told us to schedule another appointment. Irby's staff didn't do that. They patiently listened and helped him work through it. Our family is so thankful for all the staff at Irby Psychological Services. They truly INVEST in our children!

Do not trust this place. During the whole process I never felt any kind of care from the people we worked with. It didn't feel like they were actually listening at all. They quickly slapped my son with a "severe autism" label. My son might be slightly but he's not severe. Anyone that knows my son doesn't agree with this. This felt more like let's get them in and out to get more money. They NEVER told us the price. I tried to pay for the in person appointment while actually there and they said they couldn't give us a price. The next viral appointment came for the results and nothing was said there. All I get is an email about a balance of $810 after everything is done. It should be completely illegal for medical companies to not disclose costs before anything else. This is the worst medical company I've dealt with in a long while.

I am nothing but pleased with the care I have received at Irby Psychological Services. The office staff have been professional and extremely helpful. I can't say enough about my counselor Laurie. She is professional, empathetic and beyond helpful. I highly recommend Irby Psychological Services!
