John R. Stahl, PhD, ABPP

Words can not describe how upsetting my experience was here ! I went to Dr Stahl for neuropsych testing. He was very nice during the long testing and was nice when we sat down to discuss my results. He told me how well i did with my I.Q., in fact, when i asked several times what my IQ was he deflected with assurances that i was above average. Dr Stahl told me that after i had a chance to go through the results on paper that i was welcome to come back to discuss any questions i had. When i read through the papers i had some questions about different areas and also wanted to know why he had exaggerated my IQ that was documented. i reached out numerous times to make an appointment but was told he had nothing open. Finally, i went to his office and explained to his secretary that he had told me i could come back but i was met with a stern no and she was extremely rude. Dr Stahl also set me up with a therapist at my request, who i found out was a woman who worked with children! When i went into her office it was loaded with toys and it became quite apparent that she was not equipped to help me. some months went by and my ex went to Dr Stahl for neuropsych testing. He did the very same thing to him! Exaggerated his results and told him to come back if he had any questions. They would not give him an appointment. Since then i have heard from several medical professionals that others had complaints about Dr Stahl. There is no excuse for him to treat anyone the way he did! He lied by telling me he would sit down and talk about any questions I had. Disgraceful !
