Joy in The Journey is absolutely amazing. My son started off with speech & occupational therapy at Joy In The Journey at 11 months and he has thrived and made so progression since. Choosing this company has truly been the best decision I have made to enhance my son‘s milestones and developmental endeavors.

Joy in the Journey gave my child what he needed when someone else said “that’s just autism”. They have worked so hard with him and encouraged him every step of the way! My other two boys have done speech camps over the summer here and also have grown leaps and bounds! This is a great practice!

This place was recommended to me by my previous speech therapist. She had worked with them previously and the way they run their facility aligned with how she works with her clients. So, when we started, it was a familiar transition. We currently have an Occupational Therapist and Speech Therapist there and both are great. Emily is our OT and she’s very attentive and patient with our child. So far we’ve had a handful of sessions with her and she’s managed to navigate our child’s behavior and has adjusted when necessary to make the most out of our time with her. Lisa is our Speech Therapist and she also specializes in Food Therapy. Every session is a learning opportunity to incorporate speech for our son and even when we do our feeding sessions, she allows food play for our son to become more comfortable with food textures. Nothing is ever forced and she follows his lead in how the sessions go which helps to keep him stay motivated to communicate more and try new foods. I’d highly recommend them to families that want flexibility and want to feel heard. They’ve been very receptive to my experience and input for what goes into their therapy plans for our son and every session he’s making progress. When I tell him we’re on our way to see Miss Emily and Miss Lisa he’s filled with excitement! To him therapy isn’t work and it isn’t something he’s resistant to. And to me that’s huge! It shows he actively wants to go and he enjoys his time there with them. In the short time we’ve been there, we’ve seen big improvements with our son’s communication and transitions with day to day activities. Food is still a challenge but the fact that he’s become comfortable with even touching foods he used to resist is amazing! I can’t wait to see the progress we make together!

Such an amazing place. Marley and all of her amazing staff including Emily and Kelly do such an excellent job. I could not recommend them any higher. Their patience, compassion and skill are unmatched I my opinion.

I absolutely love love love Joy In the Journey!! I started with two almost completely non verbal, autistic boys (4 yo && 2 yo).. In less than a year, both my babies are speaking, flourishing amazingly. I could not thank their therapist, Kylie H., enough. Kylie && her supervisor, Mandy, always go above && beyond w my babies & give them to most unconditional love. I’d keep them in my village forever if I could! Highly recommend!

I have been bringing my child here for 8 months now. My daughters therapists Kylie and victoria are such great , caring and loving teachers . My child loves coming here . She has such a big smile on her face as we approach the front door. This place was highly recommended to me and we absolutely love it here. When u see happy kids coming in for there sessions you know you brought ur kid to the right place ..

Kylie is so nice, caring and gentle with my child with so much compassion! She is so reassuring of the process & gives updates when dealing with a speech delay!!! She makes the journey feel hopeful and supported! I truly appreciate her & the company- she is GREAT!!!

Kylie and our son have been working together over the past year. She is an absolute joy to work with. Kylie is kind, knowledgeable, patient, caring and loves children. We have seen progress in our son's speech and we love seeing Kylie on a weekly basis. Both Kylie and the team are Joy in the Journey are wonderful people and offer excellent services.

This isn’t our first rodeo with speech therapy. Our boys have been in speech since they were 16 months old, so we’ve had our fair share of experiences over the years. That being said, Joy in the Journey has truly exceeded our expectations. Kelly, Lisa, and Kylie have been absolutely fantastic. They’ve created an environment where our boys not only feel comfortable but genuinely look forward to each session. Their kindness, patience, and creativity make such a difference, and it’s clear how much they care about each child’s progress. We’ve seen incredible growth and confidence in our boys since starting here, and we couldn’t be more thankful for this team.
