Jennifer Lewis has been an absolute blessing for our family. As part of our children's care team, she's someone we trust completely. When we raised concerns about our boys that other medical professionals had brushed aside, Jennifer took us seriously and diagnosed tongue ties that no one else had caught. This diagnosis transformed everything for our kids. What sets Jennifer apart is her combination of deep expertise and genuine compassion. She's patient and kind, yet remarkably effective in her approach. We've watched our children make significant progress in their feeding abilities and physical growth thanks to her care. Her calm, reassuring presence has been invaluable to us as parents navigating the stress and worry that comes with feeding challenges. Every appointment leaves us—both kids and parents—feeling supported and encouraged.
Parents if your insurance company brings you here do not go they will keep you in the waiting list for years, and I heard from a couple of parents a lot of bad stories about this place, Do not bring them here, please go somewhere else.
Very bad service
I needed therapy for my 9 month old daughter. I called them and specifically asked if they have availability. They asked me to fill out their intake paperwork and said they will call within a day to make a fitting appointment. They asked me to fill out over a dozen pages of paperwork (took me over an hour to fill the 8-9 forms they gave), and took my credit card information. Next day they tell me there are no appointments available and there is a 3-6 month wait! I wish they had disclosed this in advance before wasting so much time and collecting so much personal data. I stopped calling other providers and wasted 2 days thinking I found one. Their receptionist is evasive and wouldn't even tell me initially if they are in network for my insurance. She said every case is different and it all depends (really?). After I pressed her hard, she did bother to check and answered properly.
I am very grateful to the entire therapy team, everyone is very kind. From the moment you walk in, they greet you with great affection and respect. It feels like everyone is family. Thank you for your patience. Thank you, Miss Kelly.
When my 2 year old son first got started at JLD, he was nonverbal and didn't seem to comprehend much language in general. We were concerned this could cause hardships in school and other ways. Since he started seeing Livia in June, his language skills have exploded- now we can't get him to stop talking (lol)! From the get-go, he absolutely loved coming to his appointments with Livia! He has a great time learning with her, even after we moved away and had to continue via Zoom. We've found Marcos, and the admin staff in general, to be very kind and helpful as well.
I vividly recall finding JLD Therapy during a "panicked Mom" Google search one afternoon. I am so thankful that I did! From the minute Marcos answered the phone, I knew that we were in the right place. I have been so incredibly impressed with JLD. Even more importantly the therapists that my son has received services from are true angels. By far 3 individuals that will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Feeding Therapy was the service that we were in need of most as this is not funded by our county. Our therapist was Jennifer Lewis, and there will never be enough words to thoroughly describe how much she changed our feeding situation for my son, for me, and our entire family. Jennifer was so patient during our initial intake, as I had my son + his three siblings with us. She was calm, kind, and just genuinely present. This was the first time she had met us, and it felt as though we knew her for YEARS because she was immediately invested and determined to help me, help my son. From that point on she was quick to answer my questions via email and each week when we had our sessions she not only worked with my son, she helped me as a Mom know what to do to help my son. She quickly became part of our "team" and she was his advocate. Nowadays, that is hard to find. She wrote letters to his medical providers and was always willing to do what ever she could to help my son. My son "graduated" from JLD Therapy, Feeding Therapy in December 2024. Jennifer sent the sweetest certificate, it brought tears to my eyes. What really did it for me is what she did last week. A random day I open our mailbox and find a letter addressed to my son. I was a bit taken back at first and thought "oh maybe it is a marketing piece" and it was in fact not. Jennifer sent us a handwritten card and a sticker she found on Etsy that is offers words of encouragement for the type of genetic disorder that my son has. She didn't have to do this, yet she did. My son is no longer her client, we are no longer paying JLD Therapy for Feeding Therapy and yet here she went doing something so far above and beyond what she needed to do for my son. Still brings tears to my eyes now. All that to say, if you are looking for therapy services for your child, I would HIGHLY recommend JLD Therapy. Professionals and even more importantly just incredibly kind and genuine humans who CARE about their patients and LOVE what they are doing. Two things we could use a little more of nowadays :) Thank you, Jennifer! You will forever hold a special place in our hearts. I also would like to say that my son's other two therapists were equally as incredible and truly the best! He had Stacey for PT and Elise for OT. Again, two true angels who were SO amazing and just a joy to work with. Stacey is one of the best PT's my son has ever had. So present, so knowledgable, and the best cheerleader for my son. You knew each week that she genuinely cared and wanted him to succeed. Elise was also such a pleasure to work with. Another incredibly kind person who was so great for my son and so knowledgable about all things OT. I might be JLD Therapy's biggest fan, ha! As a Mom and unfortunately nowadays healthcare is not always the best and people often times just do not care. When it comes to your child you want someone in your corner, ready to do all they can to help you, help your baby. This was my experience with JLD Therapy and I am so grateful to know that such a company is in our community ready to serve and support kiddos and parents too!
I saw Jennifer Lewis for infant feeding occupational therapy and she was a shining light during a difficult time. I tried everything to figure out why my 2 month old couldn’t eat more than 2-3oz at a time. Walked into Jennifer’s office and she instantly could tell what was going on. She is so knowledgeable and was so sweet with my baby. After one appointment and doing at home exercises with my daughter (which she loved by the way) there was already improvement. After her second appointment she was pretty much eating normally. I am so grateful to have found Jennifer and have relief knowing I have such a fantastic resource to reach out to should any other issues come up. From the front desk staff, to working with Jennifer and the other friendly staff members there, I can’t recommend this place enough.
