I cant express how amazing Joya is! Everybody that works there have a passion to help children, and you can tell. I dont know where my family would be without them ❤️
The facility is beautiful and clean. Right as we walked in it was heaven for my son. The evaluation process is very thorough and detailed. The therapist and teachers spend plently of time getting to know your child and answering any questions. Our speech and OT providers are outstanding I have already seen improvement in my child and he has only been going for 1 month. Highly recommend Joya and what they stand for.
We went to the open play time and it was so fun! They have a bunch of different activities for the kids to do.
We have had the best experience! Our therapists are amazing, Joya is incredibly organized and communicative. The daily play groups are also great. Our child is progressing much more quickly than we expected with their support.
We have been at Joya since my daughter was 21 months old. They are hands down the most amazing staff. Not to mention got my child in to see an SLP and OT so much faster than any other facility. They also have a doctor on staff if any diagnosis are needed would recommend to all.
Both of my sons have gone to joya and received services and I could not be more grateful for everyone there that has helped them excell in skills they needed and helped me grow as a mother to help them. Tobias and Wesley have enjoyed every minute going there making friends and playing and secretly learning at the same time. Joya offers the most amazing helpful services and always comes up with a solution to a problem I'm ever having. I will be so sad when Wesley ages out but I look forward to coming back for storytime and/or sensory time as much as we can. Thank you to all the team members for helping my kids grow. ❤️
A wonderful place. I only attend the free community events because my son is too old for their services but from my experience the staff are very neurodiversity friendly. The music isn't too loud and they notice right away when my son gives subtle signs of anxiety (even very subtle stimming). And rather than trying to pathologize the stimming they'll simply offer ways to help reduce his stress (like a squish ball for him to hold). I really appreciate that they understand behavior is communication and that they are sensitive enough to notice even subtle behaviors. I appreciate that rather than trying to make children "normal" they are willing to learn their non-verbal methods of communication and respond empathetically. I hope they expand their services to older children soon.
